Welcome to the Captain's Quarters Cabin! A tranquil, 3-story cabin with two large decks and a private 6-person hot tub. Relax and unwind while taking in the ocean views or starry night sky from the private hot tub & deck.
Retreat to the relaxing hot tub after a long day of surfing. Enjoy endless beachcombing with Terrace Beach on your doorstep and experience the best of the Wild Pacific Trail with the trailhead within a few steps from your front door!
Only a 3-minute drive from all the local coffee shops, boutiques, restaurants & attractions, and just a few steps from the Wild Pacific Trail, Captain's Quarters is the perfect base to explore Ucluelet and beyond.
Access involves a 3 to 5 minute walk along boardwalks with a short set of stairs and incline (luggage carts available after stairs).

Guest access
The cabin is exclusively yours, relax, unwind, and make yourself at home.
We are one of several individual cabins located in a complex connected by wooden boardwalks meandering through the rainforest leading to each unit.
From the parking area, guests will walk along the boardwalk and navigate a short set of stairs (approx. 8 steps) and a gentle incline to reach the cabin. The walk typically takes 3 to 5 minutes or less.
Once past the stairs, luggage carts are available to help transport your belongings to the front door.
While the path is well-maintained and scenic, it may be less suitable for guests with mobility challenges or those who prefer step-free access
Other things to note:
★ HOT TUB ★
Experience true bliss in the 6-person hot tub overlooking the ocean. A few simple requirements for your safety:
✦ No glass near the hot tub
✦ Please shower before using
✦ Refrain from consuming alcohol, prescription and recreational drugs
✦ Keep temperatures below 104 degrees fahrenheit
✦ Never leave children unattended
✦ Any damages or additional cleaning as a result of not following the posted rules in the cabin will be charged to the guest
★ WILDLIFE ★
Ucluelet is a small seaside town surrounded by wilderness, please do not leave any food or garbage outside! There is also a majestic family of eagles located in the large tree above so please be mindful of small children and pets.
★ THE DRIVE TO UCLUELET ★
Portions of the drive to Ucluelet have limited reception and limited gas stations or stores. Plan to fill up in Port Alberni - the last major hub for your grocery/supply/restaurant needs before you reach the town. You can also get groceries and gas in town when you arrive.

Had a wonderful anniversary get away with my wife. Bryan was great to communicate with and the trip went perfectly. The cabin is well stocked and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were even able to Airplay from my ipad to the tv wirelessly which was amazing. Overall had a great trip and can't recommend it enough.

Great stay! Absolutely thoughtful touches like a treat, towel and bags for the pupper! The main floor lacked privacy due to blinds on only one of the windows, so that was somewhat awkward and uncomfortable. Be prepared to enjoy the hot tub in the rain as it’s uncovered, but had a great peek a view, view and incredible sounds of the ocean waves crashing. It was also a bonus to only have one neighbour, the other side had the forest and trail next to it.
Overall a pleasant and peaceful stay with some nice touches, and not long enough!
