I booked pretty late (a little over a week in advance) through a 3rd party (e.g., E_pedia, B--king) but got what I was looking for. This was only for an overnight but the place was inviting, comfy, clean, and the communications leading up were prompt/clear. Upon arrival/check in, we relaxed in the living room and had a few snacks drinks before going out for dinner, just a few minutes walk from the 'town' centre (Ganges). We came back to get ready for bed and watched some digital TV before snoozing. On the morning of departure, I cooked up a big breakfast for two, using the provided appliances and cookware with no issues/wants. If I were staying on Salt Spring for a few days, especially with guests, this would be a perfect home base. Not cheap but delivering in comfort and amenities (beautiful patio facing the harbour with BBQ etc.). Pet friendly too, which is non-trivial for folks like us--sometimes hard to find a good spot. When I was a younger human, I would have skimped a lot for savings (we're pretty active/out-and-about when traveling). But this was for a special occasion--'classed it up a bit'-- and no regrets.
No complaints at all.

Stayed here with my two kids recently and we loved it! You really can’t beat the location. It’s just a short walk to town and the view is beautiful. We found the beds comfortable and it was very clean. The host was very kind and accommodating. It was a very hot weekend but there were fans provided and that worked great for us. We really hope to return sometime in the future!
