Zetland House Apt 4

We were attending a wedding in Loftus but booked 3 nights so we could journey out to meet up with family. We went to Whitby and Saltburn which were easy to get to. The location for the wedding was halfway between the church and the reception.

The stairs (about 30) up to the apartment are small, steep and narrow. We were on the first floor so carrying a case up was quite difficult. One minor issue with the bedding but sorted within the hour.

Very very clean and tidy. Excellent communication. Good location with shops nearby.

Convenient location for reaching Saltburn, Whitby or Middlesbrough etc. A modern looking apartment.

On arrival we found the apartment somewhat tidy, but it really needed a good vacuum. To be fair we could see it had undergone some improvements in recent years, with a modern looking kitchen, alas some of the fittings were unfinished, with loose bathroom washbasin taps, broken window lock, frozen solid freezer draws. There wasn't enough kitchen utensils, i.e a bread knife or spatula for the frying pan. Also the noise level in the early hours of the morning coming from other residents was too much, every morning from 5am we could hear stomping on the floorboards and shouting, and at night you can hear noise from the local pub. But all said and done, we only had a few nights stay at the apartment and we're out during the daytime. The location is ideal for travelling up to Tees Bay or down to Whitby or somewhere like that.
