It is set on the Heritage Coast in the North York Moors National Park with the extensive sandy beaches of Runswick Bay and Sandsend a short drive, and Whitby, 10 miles. North Yorkshire Moors steam railway nearby. Fishing, golf and riding available locally. Shop and pub 200 yards.
