"Le Winter Palace" Prestigieux, Centre, Calme

The exterior of the house, the beautiful grounds surrounding it, and the location of the apartment were very impressive. The host was responsive, helpful, and quick to answer our questions.

We encountered a few inconveniences inside. In summer, the apartment gets very hot and stuffy and is difficult to ventilate. There is no air conditioning, as the building is a listed historic property, and only two rather old fans are provided. The second “bedroom” can hardly be described as a bedroom: it is essentially a windowless storage room with just enough space for one folding bed, and the door does not even close properly. The bed itself is very uncomfortable — one wrong move and it folds up in the middle. The apartment would be ideal for a couple. It has a large bathtub rather than a shower. With children, however, we found it less comfortable. We ended up having to arrange an additional sleeping space downstairs because the small windowless room was unbearably hot and stuffy.

L'emplacement du logement proche de la ville et de la mer. La vue depuis le palace. La terrasse de l'appartement est un vrai plus (attention les voisins sont fatigués par certaines locations trop bruyantes, ne pas venir entre amis au risque d'avoir de mauvaises relations)

Dans l'annonce principale de l'appartement il y a des indications (exemple : enfants ok et mise à disposition de lit sur demande, puis il faut aller dans les petits détails au moment de la réservation pour se rendre compte que finalement ce n'est pas le cas). L'appartement n'est pas très bien entretenue (vétusté, isolation etc..) Pas d'accès PRM La rue pour récupérer les clefs est très étroite, attention de ne pas s'y rendre avec un gros véhicule.
