Clean and quiet apartment in suburb of Rovaniemi.

Clean and very quiet apartment in a peaceful suburb of Rovaniemi. Nice, homely touches with rugs, cushions and decorations in the lounge area particularly. Comfortable sofa for relaxing on after busy days. Kitchen was clean and perfectly functional for a short stay with minimal cooking planned. Although we didn’t use them, it was a thoughtful touch that they had left sledges on the balcony for guests to use during their stay. Very close to beautiful footpaths and cross-country skiing trails through snowy woodland and very close to buses into town, as well as being near the local K-mart.

Would have welcomed a little more communication from the host(s) about the check-in process. Our taxi driver was worried about us getting into the apartment as there was no response to text or calling from when we landed so we sat in the taxi for a few minutes as he did not want to leave us on the doorstep in the cold in case there was a no-show. The host did then turn up and was very helpful but some idea about what to expect when arriving at a suburban apartment with nobody around would have been helpful. The apartment could use a little love - one of the drawer fronts in the kitchen had clearly been loose for a long time and fell off if you touched it. Door of bathroom scratched up from previous inhabitant’s dog being shut in there (did not affect function in any way). Washing machine a bit dodgy and kept erroring, not draining and door not opening - I didn’t dare use it again in case our clothes got stuck. There was a number to call if needed which I would have used if necessary though.

Klassz volt minden, helyes kis apartman. Volt wi-fi is, aminek nagyon örültünk, mert mikor foglaltuk, akkor még azt írták, hogy nem lesz.

Bella struttura, accogliente, molto grande. Molto bello il balcone, posizione non super centrale, ma 10 minuti di macchina C’è un supermercato a 1 min a piedi dalla casa
