Peaceful farm setting The serenity inspired us to poetry
There's a place near Calitzdorp called Insika,
Go if you're a quiet seeker,
You can walk to the river,
Make a fire if you shiver,
And even pick fresh veg for your dinner.

What an excellent conversion of an old farm cottage, adding all the convenience touches without loosing the charm! Served my quick one night stop perfectly, will be great for a longer stay. Topped by the hosts thoughtful gestures of coffee, milk, rusks and drinks (and wood/matches) in case you didn't bring the essentials. Loved the spacious in-and outdoor showers, just had to use both!
A great place, so absolutely nothing to not like. Maybe proximity to the R62's Huisrivier Pass, for me that just added to the charm and road noise not a bother at all.

Beautiful place, wonderful hosts, comfy king size bed, yummy rusks and they even gave us eggs and veggies from their garden. Stunning! Stunning! Stunning!
