Charming Apart NEW 2 Bedrooms with Aircon

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment and I was genuinely positively surprised by its quality — both in terms of spaciousness, design, and amenities. The apartment is exactly as described (if not better!) and fully equipped with everything you might need for a short city stay. I initially expected we might need to sleep partly on a sofa bed, but to my delight, there are two proper bedrooms, each with large, comfortable beds. One of the bedrooms faces an inner courtyard, which is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The second bedroom and the living room face the street — the windows aren’t openable, but they have metal shutters you can lift during the day and lower at night. Honestly, if you’re in Paris to explore, you can just leave them closed and enjoy restful nights. The kitchen is compact but well-equipped: fridge, dishwasher (!), stove, oven, kettle, toaster, and a Nespresso machine (note: bring your own pods, or grab some from the very well-stocked Carrefour just around the corner). We also appreciated the iron and ironing board — perfect for freshening up clothes after travel. The bathroom was another highlight: spotlessly clean, modern, with a spacious walk-in shower and sleek, contemporary fixtures. Everything feels new, fresh, and thoughtfully designed. A big bonus for families: the large TV allows you to log into Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, Max, etc. Our 8-year-old was thrilled to unwind with his favorite cartoons in the evening — in his own language! Storage space is a bit limited, especially in terms of closets, but it wasn’t an issue for our short stay. And finally, the location is fantastic — just a short walk from the Bastille square and metro stations, with lots of bakeries, restaurants, and bistros nearby. I would absolutely recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Paris. It offers a great balance of comfort, style, and convenience. Would definitely stay here again!

If I had to mention anything that could be improved, it would be the lack of shelving space: a wardrobe with shelves would make unpacking easier. Also, while there is a very efficient air conditioning system (with both heating and cooling), it would be lovely to be able to crack open a window and let in some air in one of the bedrooms and the living room. That said, these are just small things that didn’t impact our experience in any major way.

L'emplacement est très intéressant sur une rue relativement calme; plusieurs services sont accessibles à pied dont le métro. L'appartement est relativement grand pour la région parisienne. C'est confortable et très propre. La douche était simplement divine!

L'isolation acoustique est minimale, heureusement que la rue n'est pas bruyante, mais on a été réveillés à plusieurs reprises. On aurait apprécié une cuisine un peu plus équipée, mais il y avait le strict minimum qui permettait de se débrouiller. Les matelas sont corrects, mais sans plus. Quant à l'accueil, il est complètement automatisé: une clé dans une boîte à codes et des consignes écrites. Comme accueil, c'est froid, distant et totalement impersonnel. Cela peut convenir à certaines personnes, mais pour nous, c'était triste!

The apartment was very clean and modernly decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped with a washer. The dryer function of the washer doesn't really dry clothes, but they provided a drying rack. Beds were overall comfortable with lots of pillows although the mattress was on the soft side for me. Bathroom was spotless. Location was convenient, 5-10 min walk to two metro stations.

I have two complaints, a small one and a major one. Small issue: hot water only lasts two normal showers consecutively. If you have more people, you have to wait for an hour for hot water to be heated up again, or take short quick showers. Major issue: loud noise in one bedroom. I wish I had read previous reviews and hope my review can inform future guests. The apartment appears to be a converted store front on the ground floor along a popular street. One bedroom faces internal courtyard, which was quiet, but the other bedroom was separated from the pedestrian walk and street only by a thin wall. The bed was literally 2 meters away from pedestrians. You can hear people talking clearly outside, and they can hear you too if you are concerned about privacy. There were a lot of noise coming from the street until passing midnight, and again in early morning. One night there were people talking and making phone calls at 2 AM just outside our window, and again at 3 AM. Another morning was garbage collection day, and trash cans were dragged on streets loudly probably at 6 AM. We couldn't get good rest in that bedroom for any single night of our stay. If you are sensitive to noise, I highly recommend you look elsewhere.
