Camden BNB

Great location. Very clean room. Basic but adequate.

The Front door was not clean and there was no identification of the B&B from street level. It would benefit from having it's house number on the door. The stairwell area could do with an update.

The position of the apartment was fab, just a minute walk from Camden Town Tube Station, allowing easy and fast travel into central London

Being on Camden High Street, it was quite noisy

Have stayed here 3 times (4 nights total) during the past 13 months because it's so convenient. Two mins walk from the tube, a plethora of food and shopping options around. The rooms are quite basic but they've always been clean, and the high ceilings help keep it airy when it's hot. The beds have always been clean and comfortable. The showers are quite small and cramped but no issues with the water. You are on Camden high street, there's going to be noise and you can hear the trains. Can occasionally hear some noise from the other rooms, but I generally sleep better with ear plugs, so this doesn't bother me.

The landing/stairwell lights are always on at night, which can seep through the gap beneath the door, so the room might not be quite as dark as you'd like it to be.

The Location was perfect for access to Camden

The place was run down, the whole place smelt of sewage, something other guests have remarked on going by the reviews but they haven't sorted the problem out, you have to leave the window open at all times, to get some air circulation not good if the weather isn't in your favour. The shower is so small and it's very difficult to use comfortably, there is no plug socket for the TV, they left a dusty and dirty extension lead, which sparked when you plug something in.
