The location was perfect, easy to access and once the locker was sorted I could safely leave my small backpack at the property.
The value for money was great, I have nothing negative to say. It was my first time staying in a hostel so I woke up several times but that is only because I’m a light sleeper.

Easy to walk from Kings Cross, an underground station just two doors down. Two shower rooms in our corridor within our looked accommodation. Large room with 5 bunk bed sets of two. Provided fans to cool our room. Nice lounge with kettle, fridge/freezer, water jug, tea/coffee cups etc., small garden area outside lounge
Although it didn’t affect me, it does says female hostel but only our accommodation was female only. Males were in the building using the same access door.

Location, female only, ratio of beds to showers/toilets
Mattress thin, could feel metal bar across middle of bed which was very uncomfortable. Bedding & towels didn’t smell clean. No sink in communal area, nothing to clean table in communal area
