DO NOT BOOK THIS EVER. ABSOLUTE NIGHMARE, THE OWNER IS VERY RUDE AND LIED ABOUT EVERTHING.

Worst experience with the host. DO NOT BOOK THIS EVER.

There was someone in the property just before we arrived, The bedroom was in an unacceptable state. The ceiling was leaking all the time during our stay. The tap in the toilet wasn't working at all. The owner said she will arrange someone to come and fix the tap. Then she said that the whole toilet sink unit has no pluming and not been connected to water supply. The fridge freezer was not cleaned and had expired stuff left over. The electricity keeps on tripping as soon as we turned the heating in the rooms on, during the entire stay. The cooker and oven wasn`t cleaned properly and smelling. And she never informed us about these issues when we booked our stay. The whole Caravan was smelly and filthy. And she refused to give the depisite back.

Quiet location but a long way from the facilities despite it apprearing closer on the map

Poor state of decor throughout, damage to lots of things, shelf hanging off, 1 bulb missing from every light, table dangerous (swayed when touched), unconnected sink in bathroom. Toilet rool holder broken and belowm shower water damaged. Power trips when a couple of item used. Terrible repair to toilet door. Power for TV run off a coil extension from other side of lounge area. Sofa and stool were stained and there were only 3 chairs. Little usuable cupboard space. Outside lights didn't work. CHeckout time is too early 9am doesn;t allow time for breakfast and to pack up etc without egtting up very early. Lacking instructions for appliances and TV

Do Not stay here!

It was clean but smelt badly of curry

No heating the electric heaters did nothing so was told to use the gas fire but it had no gas in it when messaged the host was told to warm up around the hob. The TV didn't work without WiFi when ask the host she said no it needs WiFi and wouldn't share the password. She was very rude and excused being freezing no gas and no TV stating 'we gave you a Christmas tree out of our own money' after freezing Christmas eve and Christmas morning we left early and only stayed one night. Asked for a £75 security deposit that would be returned after 3 days a week later we had to ask for it twice. Answer to everything was 'we don't live local so can't help/advice/fix. Was only told the day before we arrived that the roof had a leak if it rained and the bathroom sink wasn't plumbed in told us this was a recent issue but the guess book had these issues dating back months. Extension wires everywhere couldn't had an electric heater and kettle on at the same time as it tripped the electric and had to go outside to fix it. Absolute health and safety nightmare on top of being freezing and smelly!

Fabulous location, lovely caravan, a shop, a restaurant, arcades, and entertainment all there. Close to the sea and a short drive to the town. Can't fault it, home from home. We loved it

Upon arrival, we found the property in an appalling condition. We had to clean parts of it ourselves because it was that dirty. The oven was filthy with melted food stuck inside, dust and dirt were visible under the mattresses, and one of the mattresses even had what looked like cigarette burns. There was also a strong smell of weed coming from one of the bedrooms. Additionally, no toilet roll was supplied — which was not stated anywhere in the booking details. The entire caravan appeared to be rotting due to damp, creating a very unpleasant and unhealthy environment.

there was a smell from sink in toilet cable running on floor a concern if kids stay needs putting in trunking or a cable tidy and fastening to wall needs t l c in places no thought gone into key box with somebody with bad knees as I have struggled to get on floor and to get back up and by the time I got my things into van I was drenched as stom Amy was around

Disgusting caravan

The site is great for younger kids , plenty of entertainment and not far from gorgeous beaches. Free WiFi .

Caravan - pure filth, disgusting it wasn't properly cleaned in years. Features dated, tatty , some in need of the urgent repair. Almost all drawers, wardrobes filled up with owners items aka old DVD ( nice touch leave maybe couple but no one watches them anymore so you don't need hundreds!!!), Christmas trees and God knows what else. Not even a space to put your suitcases under bed as there was very old materac and old window/ shower screen? Not sure what it was but certainly not something that should be laying around young kids. To the owner please save yourself a response to my review by copying and pasting the same pathetic reply you post to every bad review. If you were really taking pride and cleaned and disinfected after every visit there wouldn't be so many negative reviews.

Needs some tlc

The free Internet and use of the firestick ,the big size tv,comfort of the lounge area and beds,all the essentials and facilities in the van,location of the van,tv's in all bedrooms (unfortunately no signal on them all)

Some of the furnishings coming away from its fixtures i:e shelf over fire,toilet roll holder (didn't affect our stay just some tlc is needed)

Rubbish

No heating.empty gas bottle! Filthy toilet brush..covered in faeces.freezing cold...told to use 2 small heaters that were useless.one blew cold, the other had to have the button taped down to keep it on, that too only blew like warm.we were told to use the gas hobs to keep warm!!! We could see our breath! Shelf in toilet hanging off...table and chairs wobbly...I'm disabled so dangerous. All in all it was not fit for purpose.surely they would get a new gas bottle for people coming in! Unbelievable!

I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN TO THIS VAN

That it was on a parkdean site. The staff at patkdean were all extremely helpful when we approached them for new accommodation as we could not and would not stay in the disgusting family van

DO NOT BOOK THIS VAN!!!! We left the van and hired one on the beautiful parkdean site. We could not and would not stay in the family van, and I'll be honest, if we were able to get something on the first night, we would not have stayed at all. We only arrived at 7pm, and the parkdean reception was closed. Though the security staff tried really hard to resolve for us that night, they were just unable to. We was asked us to come back at 9am in the morning and they will find us somewhere. We were asked to leave the van as we found it. This is comical as, in our opinion, the van was dirty, messy, cluttered, and unusable with malodour. I will list the concerns. 1 - Smell. That hit as we walked through the door. Very strong smell of dog. Obviously, it was not cleaned from the last visitors. 2 - Wardrobes. We were unable to use any of them. The master was filled with junk and a pair of child's knickers!!!!! Twin was filled with dirty old quits and had screws from the TV poking through. I did catch my hand in them! Second double, could not get into it because of the table placed in front of the door with 2 lamps and tv on it. When I did manage to open it, there was a pair of child's leggings hanging there. Again, proving it has not been cleaned. 3 - Cleanliness. Although this has been mentioned on both above points, I need to list this separately. Quilt was stained, the freezer was dirty, the cooker was dirty, the kitchen blinds disgusting, some glasses were dirty (not all), coffee table with cup rings, dusy and cobwebs everywhere!!! The whole place felt grimmy 4 - The shower door did not shut. We would not use facility anyway in the family van due to our disgust. 5 - Toilet door. How on earth do they feel that repair is acceptable?? (Please see photos) 6 - The final straw was the blinds in the second double. As I released them to cover the window, they were broken!! We drove for 3 hours and I have never felt such disappointment when we arrived!

Affordable price Gas fire helped to keep van warm Easy to find with provided directions Free Wifi (Had to contact hosts as provided details for login were not working, but Kyle was helpful in solving the problem, which had been caused by the router resetting itself to default settings.)

Upon entering the van, we were hit by an unpleasant smell, a mixture of damp, dogs, & stale cigarette smoke. There were visible cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling, particularly above the sofa, covered in dead flies and baby spiders. I found a vacuum cleaner in a cupboard with a mop, which all fell out when I opened the door. While trying to get the vacuum cleaner out, I managed to cut my hand on exposed screws coming through the cupboard. The vacuum was clogged with junk, adding to the overall feeling of uncleanliness. The twin room had a strong smell of damp & water stains around the window, indicating a previous leak. We had brought our own sleeping bags and pillows, which was fortunate since the provided duvets and pillows were thin. The wardrobes were used for storage, leaving little room for our clothes. In one of the bedrooms, access to the wardrobe was blocked by a table & a TV, there were other safety hazards like an overloaded plug socket & exposed screws on the bedroom door, the door handle was snapped off and the light was broken. The toilet door was poorly repaired, difficult to close, and lacked a handle, making it hard to get any privacy. The van was filled with safety hazards, such as overloaded plug sockets & broken items like doors, door handles, and light switches. Behind the sofa, I found empty crisps and chocolate wrappers, & the pink blankets on the sofa had chocolate marks. I contacted Storm about the state of the van, & she was mortified. She mentioned that a cleaner had been in that day and promised to contact the cleaner for an explanation. She would have offered an extra night for free if the van hadn't been booked right after our stay. Storm said they would need to speak to Kyle, their co-owner to see what they could do about it. I never heard from them again.

Great Caravan for the price.

The Caravan was cheap and cheerful. Bit dated and bruised. But absolutely fine for what we wanted. Decent wifi, good TV with firestick. Good boiler, good shower, gas heater workered wonders to warm the caravan. Microwave, fridge/freezer and cooking facilities were spot on. Plenty of stuff in cupboards if needed. Cosy and comfortable in the longe area. The Pool was nice. Playgrounds for the kids were good and well used. Lots of space around the caravans. Close to beach. Crazy golf. Hornsea was only a short Drive as was the Deep in Hull.

The Bedding. Poor quality, really, cheap stained quilt and old stained duvets covers. The mattresses were fine, caravan style comfortable. Just need to get some decent pillows, duvets/sheets and covers. Also, would be nice if the beds were made on arrival as it was a bit of a pain unpacking, sorting kids, getting food stc and then having to make the beds up with what appeared to be very old and sadly stained bedding. Everything else was excellent for the price though. The Town of Withersea. Absolutely nothing there. Beachfront is pretty poor. No restraunts and generally dilapidated. The Caravan site, probably my fault for booking, it started out OK, but soon I felt trapped at the clubhouse with 2 x kids. They seemed to love it though. I'm not really a club house person, so, suppose that's my own fault. The entertainment was excruciating. Food and Beers were significantly over priced. £6.50 for a pint. £15 for a main. The quality and service didn't reflect the cost in any way shape or form. On Monday morning, I ordered breakfast at 10am. Beans on boast and 2 full English, it arrived at 11.30am. I complained obviously but to no avail. You had to book the pool which was a bit of a pain. But suppose there's a lot of folk wanting to use it. The arcades were awful. Just not my thing. Kids were buzzing, but my wallet wasn't. I've decided Caravan Parks like Park Dean are not my thing, but that's not to say they might not suit others, as they clearly do. Bur, it was too much like a Bultins/Pontins for my liking.

Didn’t enjoy any of our stay.

To start off with we couldnt find the van due to it being right at the other end of the holiday park & no number being displayed. It was constantly cold due wind coming in, the electric fire place did not work! Could only use the electric heaters either 1 of them on setting 2 or 2 of them on setting 1 which blew out cold air!! My pregnant girlfriend was freezing all night!! Woke up in the morning caravan was freezing so put the heater on and tried to make a cup of tea but the circuit board blew meaning you can only do 1 at a time. No bed sheets or duvet covers. No toilet roll. No milk or sugar to make a cup of tea!! Dishes that we’re supposed to clean pulled out the cupboard were dirty. Smashed glass around and under caravan which wasnt ideal due to having dogs with us didnt feel very safe letting them explore outside the caravan. Overall the stay was horrendous wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and thats just me being honest unfortunately would of loved to give a good review but in all honesty i would of rather saved my £50 and drove back home after our business trip.
