If you want somewhere in the centre of town, look no further

The location was slap bang in the centre of town. Located very close to everywhere that we wanted to go.They said that it would be noisy until late as it is in a lovely area but I think we must have been so tired that we still had a great night’s sleep and were not affected by the noise

Gorgeous hideaway- So deceiving from the outside. Room was gorgeous.

The room was lovely and clean and really funky. Comfortable beds. Staff were so friendly. Yes there is live music every night but we didn't hear anything. Would definitely stay here again as it is so central

Overall an amazing stay

Everything was amazing. Great location, friendly staff, spotless room and comfortable bed, with some cool extras like a smart TV, kettle with coffee/tea. Didn't try the breakfast as we had to leave very early.

The noise from outside is terrible. The hotel does its best to let you know about this in advance and they provide earplugs, however you have to accept it - it's really loud. Maybe investing in some better windows would be a good solution.

Was very casual. VERY loud on a Saturday night. The Venue did make contact about the noise, but I was disappointed with the effort made to soundproof the window, this was NONE. Not acceptable at £300+ a night. Internal secondary glazing is non expensive. The top ‘holes’ in the windows had just a cut out of plastic on them. Room was otherwise unique,clean and enjoyable.

Perfect spot for an overnight, will be returning again for a third stay!

Brilliant location, brilliant price! Obviously loud at night because of where it is, but you’re made very aware of this by the property.

The shower had a little bit of dirty grouting or black mould in it and the basin of it filled up when I was showering.

Pleasant stay in central Dublin

Beautiful hotel with strong traditional character. The room was spacious and the location is great. Also, very nice staff, exceptional accommodating. As soon as I encountered a few problems in the room, theh solved them immediately.

There is no elevator, so if someone is on the 3rd floor, it is a bit tiring. Also, there are pubs with people making noise until 00.00-01.00 but this is something that the hotel clearly indicates.

Beautifully designed and well-maintained with a perfect location.

The room was a lovely design and well-maintained. The location was perfect. We had been warned about noise at the weekend but we were on the too floor and heard very little.

It was unclear during the booking that the breakfast was an additional cost. The price of €17 was listed but not stated as an add on which made it look like it was part of the overall cost. When we inquired about the breakfast we were told we had to go across the road to look at the menu but then come back an tell them in the bar if we wanted it. That seemed awkward and unnecessary. Why couldn't there be menu in the bar for us to see? We were told that we could have the breakfast on the menu for €15 instead of €17... €2 off. And there was no choice other than the full breakfast. It just seemed confusing, not a great deal and a bit of a convoluted system. Given what was on offer we did not feel that it was a selling point that was worth including with the room information. The other thing to say is that we requested to check in one hour early and also if it was possible to have a room with a bath. Our room was lovely but it did not have a bath. That was fine — but it was irritating to receive maybe 10 emails to tell us that late check in was not possible. It must be an automated thing but every email came twice and the same notice was repeated. None of the emails related to our actual requests. It wold be worth checking if booking.com are doubling up all your messages. And maybe you could have a record of what messages have been sent.

Decent for a single night (maybe). Pretty bad otherwise.

Nicely located, if you don't mind the noise that occasionally continues up to the middle of the night. The bathroom was clean, but that's about it. I recommend it only for a single night, and to be fair that's how long 90% of the guests must have stayed. Or maybe only our room was so bad.

- dust in multiple spots, including the radiator and the blinds.. - signs of mediocre maintenance: rusty screws in the shower, a broken blind (that lets light through at eye height when you're sleeping), and more - no housekeeping in the last 2 days because the staff came between 4 and 5 pm. What time is that..? - absolutely no place where you can put towels or personal items. No shelves, no drawers (the night tables had none!) - mugs and glasses had dirt around the rim - extremely noisy bathroom door For the price I expected much more. It seems like the hosts don't give a damn about the quality of the service being provided. They probably think the location is all that you need. If you plan to stay more than a night, it's better to move 1 or 2 km away from the area and you'll get lower prices for a much better service.

Although I was fairly warned that it could be noisy with the bar downstairs, it was louder than expected until late. Suggest staying here if you are happy to go to bed late or joining in at the pub.

The room we had was spacious. We were in the top floor so we didn’t hear minimal sound despite the bar below and busy street.

The staff were amazing. Lara was super friendly and very welcoming. The hotel is in a great location and extremely clean. Rooms are very cosy and spacious. 100% we'll be back. The good stuff on tap and Lara knows how to pour.

Nicely renovated Dublin pub - great location for a drink. Terrible location for a good nights sleep

This is a good pub in a great part of Dublin. The team member who checked me in was nice - although, in fairness it felt more like checking into a hostel - not the end of the world.... But the complimentary ( and ineffectual ) ear plus were a sign of things to come

First up this is a pub with rooms - not a hotel ( as listed by Booking.com; O'Regan's website doesn't actually mention being a hotel ) I should acknowledge Booking.com did mention its location / noise issues ( Thurs-Sun ) in one of the several emails sent by them prior to arrival. I missed that - my bad. However, I stayed on a Wednesday and it was one of the worst nights sleep I've ever had in Dublin - god knows what the weekend would be like. Shouting and screaming outside the window until 3am ( not the O'Regans fault I guess ) - And what looked like a weekly beer barrel delivery to O'Regans between 4:30-5:30am right outside the window of the bedroom - the guys hopping barrels on the pavement and shouting to each other literally couldn't have been louder if they tried ( I have video ). Also the room was cold - I searched everywhere for a temp control - couldn't find it. The common areas / hallways are scruffy - and really need a lick of paint. Shame - I love a good pub with rooms.

Great location, interesting building and great service at O'Regans

The rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures. The staff was great and let me check in a bit early since my flight landed early. The building was beautiful and super cool to stay in for a traveler. The location was ideal. My overall experience at O'Regan's was phenomenal. I highly recommend it.

Great location

The location is amazin, lovely building, right in the city centre, close to everything...lot's of pubs and bars downstairs, so if you don't like noise, better stay somewhere else...wasn't an issue for us. We stayed on the top floor, in a lovely, oversized attic. Bit of a strugle with the stairs, but other than that everything was lovely. Breakfast was at a nice location across the street and it was quite good and tasty

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent!

The rooms themselves are very basic and not that well planned (I.e., there’s no mirrors in the main room with the plugs, no hooks for towels or jackets, bathroom was very small with no counter space). But most importantly, the room is not sound proofed at all - no matter the time of day you can hear conversations outside, traffic, etc.

Romantic one of a kind getaway!

Antonia was great! The place was so cool. Our bed was very comfortable. No complaints! Also the breakfast is served at a lovely restaurant and so very worth it. Definitely get the breakfast!

The location was great beside great bars and restaurants,great staff and very easy to check in,lovely breakfast in the restaurant across from O’Regans ,the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean ,to get a room in Dublin for under €200 it was worth all the noise

Comfortable city break

The property was in a fabulous location, close to parking and all the attractions of Dublin. The property was quirky and luxurious and the rooms contained everything you needed for a comfortable stay

The only problem was the shower didn’t drain properly, and you need to beware that there are a lot of steps to get to the rooms, neither of which really spoiled our trip

Right bang in the city centre close to everything. Clean and a very comfortable bed. Spotless bathroom. Reduced rate parking in Apoca Drury St very close by. Friendly, helpful staff.

Our room was probably smallest on offer and it meant person sleeping on the inside had to climb over the other to get out of the bed. Would look to stay in one of the larger rooms next time.

Very good value for a Terrific Location and tasteful room!

Great room. I’ve stayed in four properties within three blocks of each other and I like the room of O’Regan’s the best. One property doesn’t offer coffee on the premises. Big negative for me there. O’Regan’s offers coffee, tea, and water.

Two things: 1. No lift and my room was top floor. I’m 74 years old. This was not pleasant. 2. I was a late check-in on Saturday night. Negotiating the bar crowds was pleasant but I only did it once.
