the bed was comfortable and the outside porch was nice
the bed sheets had blood stains on from previous guests maybe washed out but it was definitely visible on the bed sheets. The toilet was absolutely not up to par,the shower didn’t give no cold water,there was a very loud drain sound that would run through the whole duration of being in the bathroom using the taps and went in the shower and it will give out a very very smelly drain smell and the bathroom just had a really bad smell altogether. it wasn’t up to standard on my end.

Very basic, pretty grim all things considered
A spacious room, TV that worked, and clean bedding. Four towels were provided, and they were clean. Help was available via phone, eg. to provide a plug for the bathroom sink. PIN codes to access rooms. Tea and coffee, two mugs, two cups and a functioning kettle.
No breakfast provided at the venue. All looked a bit tired, bordering on neglected, especially the bathroom, which was pretty grotty. Noisy late at night.

Name of property was different 'Box' not Knoll. On closer inspection the name Knoll was painted out. No hot water in the basin; shower heater not producing hot water, only cold. Smell of tobacco smoke in shower room/toilet. crude shelf of mdf No drawers or hangers for clothes No decaffeinated tea or coffee provided

I liked the cleaners they were very pleasant and happy to help no matter what. I liked the bed was very comfy.
The other people in the hotel were very noisy late at night was unpleasant but that isn't the hotel fault

We saved money but it wasn't worth the worry
We had a nice big double room but .....
The whole set up seemed rather dodgy, they asked for a full photo of my driving licence. I wasn't happy about sending that as it could be sold on so we had to go and show it at a hotel a few miles away. They also asked at the last minute for bank details for a £50 damage deposit even though booking.com had already had our details. I didn't trust the whole set up so felt obliged to video the room before we left to show that no damage had been done. I suppose it seems like their clientele might need strict monitoring?
