The location

Flat was dirty. No heating . Bedding inside wardrobes leaving nowhere for own clothes ... the tvs in the bedrooms were resting against things . Can see why the don't do refunds as we left within one hour of being there ....Avoid

Fantastic place and value for money and location amazing.

Fantastic set up and stunning location. Easy to get to and lucky to get a car parking space and popped in grabbed parking ticket and put on cars sorted. It has most things you could ask for and lots of space.

Only a few small bits for me. TV didn’t work for some reason. Three tv’s in the house. But none working at the times of not working. Clear away. Old tumble dryer in kitchen. Needs moving. Radiator in back bedroom didn’t get hot. Electric heater in back bedroom worked if you messed with cable. So not to safe. I had a bad smell off weed when I went to bed. Must be from neighbours??

Awful tatty flat. Avoid.

Nothing apart from the views from the top floor. It was near to the event we were attending.

It was awful especially the bathroom. No hot water at all as the boiler was turned off. The TV in the lounge didn’t work but we did eventually get the one in the bedroom on but it’s huge, totally disproportionate to the room. Everything was poor quality. There was food in the fridge/freezer and washing in the machine. It was freezing but they had put a couple of fan heaters in the bedrooms thank goodness. Lots of stairs up to a tatty flat which was nothing to do with the rest of the building which looked nice

Great location but don't expect too much...

Location was great - views from flat were superb.

TV in living room wouldn't switch on. Massive TV in bedroom there for no reason. Washer/drier was running when we arrived which was a bit weird. Carpets everywhere but particularly on stairs could do with a renewal. We found no local information or instructions and subsequently didn't have any heating. Shower control seemed dangerous (or especially for children) as it went from cold to scalding in a tiny rotation of control.

Unwelcoming apartment with a tired shabby appearance

Good location close to main streets and beach. Loved Weymouth itself. A real delight

Found it very shabby and unwelcoming. The front door was patched up after a break in. The stairwell was dirty, then in the apartment , the carpet was old and dirty and needs replacing. The tvs were far too big and the lounge one didn’t work properly. The screen was pink tinged. The rooms were cold despite heating. The windows needed replacing and were in a bad state of repair. The decor was very tired. Bedding was tired. No thought has gone into making this a welcome environment and I will not be returning

Short stay at Weymouth

Location was excellent

Not enough seating upstairs for four people to relax in, no heating and only small fan heaters supplied which were very poor, it was very cold, poor security as glass panel on door smashed with only a board to cover the glass which was easily removable. Needs a serious refurb !

Perfect location, great views, a few tweaks and it could be really cosy

This property didn't have a very high rating when I booked it, and I could see why, it is a bit shabby in places, however, I do think it has great potential if only it were presented a little better. It has the most amazing views from either side... the entirity of the beach from the kitchen ... and the harbour on the other side. One of the bedrooms is so big it even has a large sofa in it and once again views of the beach, from a large bay window. The shower was simple and easy to use. If this place was given a lick of paint, re-organised and presented as a guest home with white fluffy towels and matching bedding, and maybe a bit of carpeting, it could rate so much higher.

It does feel a bit like someone elses home, there are clothes in the wardrobes and there seems to be great emphasis on the washing machine and laundry side of things, the kitchen layout in that respect could do with some re-thought. And the kitchen cupboards were full of tatt, and the cutlery could be better. The pillows were dreadfull, mine felt like a pillow case stuffed with socks! and the bedding overall, very thin and mismatched, not at all cosy. Could do with a little shelf in the bathroom, there is space over the toilet roll holder, or a corner unit. The eccessivley large TV was a mistery to operate! between the 3 of us we could not fathom, out of the 4-5 controls which one actually turned it on! ended up doing it on the actuall set itself. And then a nightmare to operate any further!

Central location with great views

It was very easy to find the apartment with clear instructions of what to expect and where to find the parking permit. All really helpful. Entry to the apartment using the key code was a little challenging and it took multiple gos, a phone call and a really helpful neighbour to gain entry but once we'd worked out 'the knack' it was (more or less) plain sailing from then on. The bedrooms were comfortable, the bathroom is a bit of a squeeze, but we were only there for one night. The double aspect kitchen/living area had fantastic views. For the three of us it was a great size and ideally located within the town. It's very central and, despite this, it didn't seem very noisy.

It's the top floor and navigating with suitcases/heavy bags is a good workout. Tricky lock to deal with on arrival. THE BIGGEST TV in one of the bedrooms, which seemed unnecessary and a bit of an afterthought in its placement, but even though it wasn't for us, maybe it would be for someone else.

Needs a bit of TLC as location is great

The location was perfect. The views from the property were great.

Lock on the front door is really hard to operate/ open. Out of 4 of us only one could work it. Needs changing. Bedding and towels need to be changed as bedding was bobbly and pillows were awful. Need changing Shower kept going hot then freezing cold. Couldn’t work out the tv. There needs to be instructions as there was 4 remotes 🫣 Flat was cold in the morning and evening no instructions on heating. This little flat could be so much better

Disappointed

Good location Spacious apartment Fabulous views

Unable to access property with key pad. ( kind cleaner let us in )this was an ongoing problem. Heating remote not working ( kind cleaner fitted new batteries but still not working so he provided heaters which made our stay more pleasant) Toilet blocked for the duration of our stay ! TV’s - no instructions Bedding and pillows need replacing with new. Bedding and clothes in cupboard Cleaning equipment stored in kitchen in the corner ! Apartment needing TLC and a deep clean ( this is no reflection on the cleaner as he done his utmost for us which really helped) (I’m sure he only has a limited time to generally clean apartment)

!AVOID! Check the reviews before booking! Avoid at all costs.. do not waste your money! Where do I start… Arrived Monday, walked into the flat and the smell of damp/must and cannabis hit us. Thick layer of dust over windowsills, skirtings and all furniture. Dirty washing in washing basket, washing left in tumble dryer, filter at the bottom of tumble drying thick with dirty. Black mould on all silicone in bathroom, dirty shower with used items in. Used items left in fridge. Unable to use any storage due to it being full of belongings. Tv resting on the back of a random sofa in the master bedroom, in other bedroom an overly large tv on the floor. Door to fuse board wedged shut with cardboard. Unable to use parking permit due to it being a printed out photo of the actual permit. Absolutely filthy carpets which are heavily stained, property is very run down and is in need of lots of attention. Do not be fooled by the pictures on the advert.. this property is nothing like advertised. Hosts not at all helpful and seem to ignore all our concerns even with photo evidence. This property is a safety hazard. We had no choice but to check out 40 minutes after checking in. After a very long fight we managed to get a partial refund which doesn’t justify the stress and state of the property. Completely ruined our family holiday which we booked 14 months ago.

Excellent location, close to the venue we were attending, the beautiful beach and harbour, fabulous views and plenty of lovely places to eat and drink. Flat has a well equiped kitchen with dining table and chairs enough for 6... Extra towels if needed. Kitchen utensils, plates, copper etc were all clean and well stocked. 1 parking permit supplied but enough pay and display for our extra car,

The beds and 2 seater sofa bed are, well used, tired and uncomfortable. Not relaxing. A large leather sofa took up a lot of the master bedroom, could of done with that in the living area! The second bedroom contained a massive floor standing 70" tv which again, took so much space. Wardrobes were stuffed with extra bedding so no hanging room. The carpet was dirty, dusty and needed a thorough vacuum. Sink, toilet and inside of the shower were clean but the floor was very dirty and sticky. All skirting boards and floor edges were just accumulated dust and dirt.

Disappointing and needs work

The area was close to the sea front, allowing easy access to the nearby facilities. The views were lovely, and the parking permit was a nice touch.

Dirty! The house was in a rather unpleasant state. With coffee rings and stains left on shelfs, the windows look filthy, and the wardrobes had jumbled linen thrown inside. The washing machine had left over laundry in, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Not to mention the massive sofa and tv in the bedrooms that no one needs. The coffee supplied looked stagnant, and nothing was organised. The bathroom was small and not extremely clean, either. Unfortunately, this is probably the worst air bnb I've been to.

Beach apartment

The location

It had not been cleaned the sofa bed had dog hairs on it when you pulled it out. The apartment smelt of dogs. All the towels had bleach marks on it. And skirting boards were filthy. The apartment itself had lovely views. And was in a brilliant location. What it needs is a good clean and towels that haven't got marks all over them. And a decent sofa bed as the one it has is more for a child. And also the tv,s it has in the rooms to work because none of them work

Flat is tired. Mismatch of furniture and decor.Sofa in living area very uncomfortable and small. Cleaning needs improving. Many items need replacing including bed linen, towels, loo brush, bath mat. Popper in washbasin doesn't work. This flat could be special if made more welcoming. Unfortunately couldn't use the parking permit as no spaces available.

We didn’t stay and feel a refund should be taken aid as the pictures were considerably misleading.

We arrived and first impression it looked derelict! We went and it was smelly,damp and run down. We told the cleaner who was still there that we wouldn’t be stopping. We had to pay to stay in a clean hotel.

Endurance challenge

The view and location is exceptional but this is the only thing the apartment had going for it.

I booked this for my wife’s birthday weekend for us and our 2 year old son. We love Weymouth and looking at the pictures it looked like a beautiful apartment. When we arrived the building looked run down and this was the case for the flat as well. We have stayed in some mediocre places in the past but none as run down and grubby as this place. My wife is pregnant and had we come here a few months later with our newborn, we’d have left. The Tv is fiddly and doesn’t really work. The view was beautiful but it was interrupted by the disgusting windows and it smelt dreadful. I’m honestly surprised there aren’t more bad reviews. The cherry on the cake for us was the overpowering smell of marijuana and cigarettes that wafted through the apartment through the night. We were concerned for our 2 year olds health as he is asthmatic, that and the passive smoking both my pregnant wife and 2 year old had to tolerate. The entire place needs a deep clean, I’ve seen cleaner showers at campsites. Usually both me and my wife read reviews and wonder if it’s really as bad as they are suggesting but this truly was dreadful. The bedding smelt sweaty as though it hadn’t been changed. I actually think this was the duvet itself because we put brand new bedding over it and it was still smelly. The kitchen/ lounge smelt like curry. All in all lots of foul smells. It was also freezing cold in the bedrooms. They did have some stair gates but these couldn’t be put up securely because of the positioning of light switches and had our son leant on it, he would have fallen down the steep stairs. Thankfully our stay was just for 1 night and we stayed out of the apartment as long as possible. It’s a shame you can’t photograph smells but the wonky headboard and grubby windows really were a drop in the ocean. All in all it felt like a reality tv survival challenge.

If you don’t mind a budget property with a bit of DIY cleaning where cleaners have missed.

Good location, easy check in, Apple TV, views from the windows were great, beach one side harbour the other.

Whilst some areas were surface level clean, the property could have done with spending more on cleaners/cleaning time as shower was not very clean (sand in shower trap), floors were not hoovered, fridge not wiped down, tumble dryer had hairs and lots of dust in, and property was very dusty (skirting boards), corners etc. We ended up cleaning everything ourselves on the first day to make it liveable for our family for 3 days.

Great location for a break in Weymouth. I would stay again

The property was in a brilliant location with great views of the beach one side and the harbour the other side. The apartment was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great TV with all the current apps. There is a parking permit provided so that you can park right outside which was so helpful. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer available to use. The instructions to get into the apartment were easy to follow.
