Brilliant quiet location 5 min from the beach and 15 min walk to the main restaurants and bar area.

Quiet relaxing stay.

Beds very comfortable, quiet residential location and close to the beach / general amenities.

It was very cold on arrival with no instructions as to how to warm the place up, but Steve was quick to help (I still had to Google how to use the thermostat though!)

Shame we couldn't have stayed longer!

Location was a relatively simple walk from the train station (we found our way via the main street to begin with, then found quicker routes back to the train station during our stay.) The place was very clean, welcoming and contact between the owner was prompt and polite. I don't think I've slept in a comfier bed and although I struggle to get to sleep (whether at home or away) I found myself drifting off relatively quickly. We were originally going to have separate rooms in the apartment, but opted to share the twin room which was more than adequate and again, very comfortable. The temperature gauge was easy to use as was the fridge, we enjoyed our meals in the lounge and appreciated the protective mats as they helped prevent any mess. We loved the fact we had access to YouTube as it meant we didn't miss out on any of our usual watches and we also liked the fact we were closer to Greenhill Beach as we really enjoyed being able to go out and sit on the prom, watch the waves and partake in a wonderful breakfast at a nice, reasonable price at the Jurassic Coast Cafe.

I honestly didn't have many if any issues at all - the toilet made a very interesting noise when flushed, but it was acceptable as it made us laugh, the only other thing that sprung to mind was the light switch outside the toilet room which fell off when we moved to turn on the lights, we also discovered that one of the curtains (on the right of the main lounge window) had been torn before our arrival, but any issues we had were reported and replied to promptly and politely.

Flat was close to town in walking distance the flat was large beds were really comfortable and clean. The flat had everything we needed.

The carpets were very dirty could do with a clean, mould round the bath just needs taking off and replacing. Curtain in front room torn.

Another Lovely Stay At Freshford House

Once again a lovely stay at Freshford House, Great location, everything you need for your stay, Very close to the beach, Short walk to the shops, harbour, greenhill gardens. Bonus great for parking your car due to having your own allocated parking space off road

Great potential but uncared for

Plenty of space, good parking and easy reach of the beach, albeit at the furtherest point away from the main centre, its an easy walk Was a well equipped flat

Carpets really badly stained throughout. They need a deep professional clean Net curtain in lounge has massive hole All curtains are badly fitting and need a wash Curtain pole in twin bedroom damaged Hallway and stairs smells and needs a good clean The flat has the potential to be so lovely, but it feels so unloved and uncared for. The state of the carpets was unacceptable and just made you feel like everything was unclean

It gives you a home from home experience. Really comfortable and perfect for getting to places.

The only negative I could suggest on improving is potentially giving the carpets a deep clean, as they are looking quite grubby in places.

Enjoyed Weymouth and with a bit of a tidy up the accomodation could easily be excellent .

The property could do with a shine, nothing was overly clean. The cutlery and crockery needed a wash before use , as looked like it was just rinsed and put away . The carpet was very badly marked and dirty , needs replacing as it made the place feel unclean , although the beds and linen were fine.

Ideal location with a free parking place

Clean, tidy and comfortable accommodation, in a relatively quiet area just a stone’s throw from the sea front. A choice of two pubs at either end of the road.

Lovely place to stay for a short visit to Weymouth.

Great location. Fully equipped kitchen. Very spacious. No complaints/issues at all.

Small detail. The car parking space at the back could have been marked more clearly. The house number was just scratched in the brickwork so was hard to locate.

Great property for a mini break

In a great location, very clean & well appointed. Great to have a parking space on site, especially to be able to access this earlier than the actual check in time - much appreciated, thankyou.

“Didn’t like” is a bit strong - nothing in particular. My son said the bed he slept in (one of the single beds) has failed somewhat - don’t know the construction but is there a slat missing?Would have been handy to have a towel rail in the bathroom for hanging up wet towels to dry. The entrance hall is looking a bit tired/shabby, so could do with decorating & the bins outside the front could be tidied into a store/specific location and the broken bin disposed of.

A great find, in a brilliant location, for a weekend exploring Weymouth with family!

Freshford House is ideally located for exploring Weymouth and the area! We usually stay in caravan/holiday parks but now the children are a bit older we decided to stay a little closer to town centre and it was a great decision. Very short walking distance to the beach, shops and quayside etc. The accommodation had everything we needed for the stay, and was very clean on arrival. Brilliant to have parking included too. Communicating with the host, Steve, was easy and he was responsive to messages as needed. We loved our stay, and hope to be back!

Sorry to say just one bad thing due to the weather being very hot, we couldn’t open the living room windows it seems that they was stuck, the handles lifts up but they wouldn’t open

Freshford House is in a good location, very clean, well equipped with everything you want. A bonus having off road parking space. This was our 4th visit to this apartment and got another 2 booked for next year. This says a lot about the property.

Great place to stay with children

The property was very close to the beach approx 5min walk which was perfect.Stayed in flat one which was very spacious . Had everything needed for our stay. Great parking, probably the best we have had when visiting Weymouth

An inexpensive, clean quality stay within walking distance of the beach.

Freshford House is in a great location for walking to the quieter end of the beach. It was very clean with big towels and comfortable beds. The addition of Netflix on TV was good for our little one when tired from playing! The parking space was excellent. We liked the washing machine and drying rack along with a good breeze from the windows to take care of laundry.

It was quite warm on the first few days and we would have liked to open the front windows for a cross breeze. The shower head could be more effective. Some more basics like salt and pepper and an extra roll of toilet paper would have been appreciated. There was some rough and loud activity in the road from the pubs on weekends.

Great location, easy reach of Centre.

Great location in easy reach of the town centre. A great place to stay for coastal path walks in either direction. All facilities you need to relax after a long walk in preparation for the evening and a few well-earned beers !

One very minor issue- The shower head needs to be changed, it didn't give a very good spray. I meant to leave a note for the cleaner. But thanks for a great stay. We will be back !

The property is comfortable good WiFi in every room. 5 min walk to the beach ( gravel beach , Sandy beach 15 mins)Master bedroom is large plenty of space furniture is best I have seen when renting holiday home. 2nd bedroom had 2 beds with a pull out bed underneath. when this bed is used there isn’t enough room in the bedroom especially when you have young children running around. ok for short stay.The window could be opened in this bedroom. kitchen is spacious, and long the fridge is behind the kitchen door . The door is a fire door really annoying you need to keep this door open when walking to from the kitchen as the door bangs when shut as do all the doors. The work surface above the fridge is difficult to use when you need to keep the kitchen door open. lounge is a good size there is plenty of dvd’s to watch and the tv is a smart tv. games for the children.Settee is very comfortable to sit on. The children loved staying here.

There is 2 flights of stairs to the property I was only expecting one flight of stair. I made the mistake of parking in the wrong parking space got abuse from the neighbour’s. The lounge is very stuffy. No ventilation the windows do not open. This room gets very warm in the afternoon. Really could do with blinds at the windows WD40 sprayed on the window parts as well. The bathroom window is the same. There could be a picture of the parking space on booking . com which would be helpful. I noticed the water in. both sinks takes along time to drain away

Comfortable, convenient and good communication

The flat was perfect for our family of three - clean, comfortable and with everything we needed without any additional clutter. Communication via messages was timely and detailed so that we had all the info we needed in advance without prompting. The location was great for the town and the parking space a real bonus. We hope to be back before too long.

Just a a couple of small things: 1) No bedside lamp next to the taller bed in the twin room (shortage of electric sockets?) 2) Two of the windows were stiff (we couldn't open the living room windows) but we flagged this on departure and this is being taken care of by the owner.

Home from home, stones throw from the beach, family friendly

This is a lovely apartment in a perfect location, just a few minutes from the seafront and a short walk to the beautiful harbour. The property is spacious and nicely decorated throughout, with comfortable beds and bedding, and a lovely cosy living room too. It has a bath and shower which is perfect for families with small children. In addition, it has a parking space which is a real bonus. The host was very helpful and polite and left nice clear instructions on how to use everything, and responded really quickly to my messages beforehand regarding check in times. This is a lovely place to stay with family or even friends, and is like a home away from home. I will definitely be returning, we had the best time!

All in all this was a 10/10 stay which I have already recommended to others, so no real criticisms. The only thing I might personally have liked was maybe a couple of teabags/coffee sachets left just for arrival, as after a long journey it's always nice to have a drink whilst unpacking! There were nearby shops though so it certainly didn't make the stay any less enjoyable.

Beautiful spacious flat. lots of light, well decorated. parking spot a real bonus. great instructions on the wall on entry with clear requests for wifi, bins keys heating etc (lovely touch) clean fresh towels. equipped kitchen. nice touch with clean tea towels, scrubbie and washing up liquid. The safe was very comfy and perfect for a movie night with our children after a day on the beach. Both bedrooms were lovely :) Fantastically located near enough but not to close to main town which was perfect for our family:

personal preference - throughout our stay someone was smoking downstairs on the front step :( which wasn’t nice walking our children through. the Front garden was quite messy (rubbish on the floor) bins tipped over. The shower head wasn’t great and made a weird noice - easy fix and certainly didn’t upset anything was just worried it might be very noisy for the flat beneath us.
