Lovely stay in Lobster Cottage - great location, parking and facilities. We'll be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lobster Cottage. Location was amazing, right near everything with plenty of parking for our 2 cars (which is a rarity in Weymouth!) It was easy to get into the property using the key safe and we had plenty of space for 4 adults and a child. The welcome hamper and milk was a lovely surprise and some delicious treats inside!! We had everything we needed within the cottage, the WiFi was great too which was useful, beds were comfy and had no issue using the heating when we needed it. Would definitely stay again!

We tried to get in contact using Booking.com messages at 8am on the day we were travelling to ask if we could use the parking before check in, even resorted to whatsapp messaging the agency as advised in one of the many booking.com emails but didn't get a response till about 5 minutes before check in so was too late then. The only other issue is check in at 4pm seems pretty late which means you have to figure out where to park etc with a car full of belongings before you can get in. 2/3pm would be better.

Cheap property but needs some tlc to improve the overall standard.

Kitchen pots and pans dirty. Generally not very clean, carpet in living room dirty, skirting boards not clean. Hall and kitchen floor sticky

Lovely, lovely, lovely.

One of the best cottage properties I have rented in the South. Fresh, light, clean and spacious considering the age of the building. The owners and/or managers have made a considerable effort in upgrading and maintaining the interior specification. Perfect for our requirements.

Bathroom was small and over-bath shower was awkward due to the sloping roof and me being a larger-framed person. That said, the rest of the accommodation was fabulous and far superior to some of my previous cottage experiences.

Pleasant stay at Lobster Cottage.

Parking available. Close to the harbour and beach. 2 bathrooms.

The floor in the kitchen was filthy. Walking in bare feet resulted in filthy feet! The floor needs a good steam clean. Could not get the tv in living room to log into Netflix (even though the tv in bedroom worked) if one worked so should the other.

Genuinely nice place to stay.

Great location ,all important parking space, you would struggle to find parking around there and would be expensive. Nice large rooms 👍. Kitchen well equipped, and a welcoming pack with treats was excellent 👌.

Nothing really, the only criticism was the shower 🚿 curtain was too long.

Comfortable, good location and spacious

This property was superbly situated for our weekend of activities which included the Weymouth half marathon. The course went right past it! It had plenty of space and we managed to fit our two cars on the parking space(s) provided next to the property. Perfect for a weekend away.

Everything was clean and tidy and the hamper and milk was a fantastic little touch.

The only slight issue I had was that the double bed on the middle floor was a bit too soft as I struggle with a very bad back.

Very comfortable cottage in an absolutely brilliant location!

Location was excellent! Really comfortable too.

Little things like the freezer not having been defrosted so couldn’t open the drawers properly. And labels on oven nobs no longer visible, so took a bit of guess work to understand how to use grill!

Great cottage in Weymouth Old Town

Charming terraced cottage in old town, fully equipped, comfortable and very centrally located. Parking very handy. Photos dont do it justice, lounge is comfy and cosy, beds comfy. Nearby pubs we liked were the Red Lion and Chspelhay Tavern, both very close and full of sea faring memorabilia.

It was great and couldn't fault it. For info the shower over bath is a bit cramped due to the available space. For info there can be some noise as it is central.

Location was perfect , the parking places were essential . The cottage was cute . The Dream Cottages staff were very professional and efficient , reacting very quickly to rain ingress problem , especially during out of hours .

The building fabric and interior are in need of some basic maintenance. This was demonstrated by rain ingress from ceiling and window in the twin room . The shower over the bath was not comfortable to use , talker people would find it more so . Contacting the appropriate person out of hours due to so many companies involved in the letting .

lovely and cosy but enough space for a family of 2 adults and 3 children. Perfect location and would highly recommend. in fact will look at booking again. perfect new years stay.
