Perfect for what we needed!

Jane is the perfect host. Kind, polite & responds quickly! The caravan itself is welcoming on arrival and looks like a home from home. The kitchen has a range of equipment to allow you to use the self catering element, though we did use the deliver to caravan once or twice! Towels and bedding all provided, though we took our own so we could use ours at the pool/beach etc. We brought our own bed guard, but there was one under the beds. The main bedroom is very well equipped with cupboards and a huge wardrobe. I also had a lovely dressing table and overhead storage to keep things tidy! It was perfect! The caravan does have WiFi, though we found our own phone data (EE) was just as good in this location. The location of the caravan was perfect for what we needed - us two and our son (3) could leave to wander down to the main facilities without rushing & then back again with ease. My son loved being able to see “Rory the Tiger’s House” from the decking - which has a stunning sunset view, perfect for card games and a glass of wine once he’d gone to bed. It’s also ideal for getting some washing dried on nicer days! We used the Laundrette twice and the shop in the mornings - the caravan is perfect walking distance for warm pastries and a cheeky Costa from the machine. Our favourite part was the sea view, you can see the lagoon and the ocean beyond Chesil Beach. On clear days, our son said “the sea is sparkly” which sometimes felt like we were on holiday in the med!!! The activities on site were perfect for our son - swimming, 4x4 off roaders always go down well. We did breakfast with the Seaside Squad and attended the show each night - table service was perfect for our daily Aperol Spritz (and a fruit shoot for the little man!) Littlesea is ideally located - 10 mins from Weymouth centre and a sneaky shopping car park is Melcombe Regis, though we used the electric car chargers and parked all day (it’s more expensive but only 5 mins walk from the beach).

We liked everything! We would happily book again and are considering doing so! Do be aware that the headboard of the bed in the main bedroom backs onto the path and you can hear people chatting as they walk back on the night & on occasion they are less than considerate to you being asleep! Though the noise from the facilities is nonexistent. My son was never disturbed by this, it was just me and my very light sleeping!

We had the best holiday in ages. Last year we all had dreaded covid so could not go anywhere.

Did not have breakfast smelt nice . Location of caravan great place good sea view felt like you were on holiday. Decking great and good outdoor setting . Nice friendly atmosphere 👌. Good all round 👍.

Nothing really caravan well equipped surprised to see bedding and guest hand towels. We did have are own but nice anyway.

Littlesea all home comforts

Lovely caravan spotlessly clean. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've had in a caravan 👍 Welcome pack of tea bags and milk was a nice touch The caravan has a lovely veranda with furniture and the position of the caravan is excellent only a very short walk to all facilities and the bus stop Will definitely visit again

Nice week away

The location was an excellent base to travel around the area of Weymouth. We visited Poole, Portland. Sandbanks Lyme regis the WW2 Museum in castletown was excellent. The caravan was very clean the bed was comfy The park itself was clean and the food in the Mash & Barrel on site was quite good and staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a supermarket, chippie and pizza place on site. There is a very good kebab house just outside the camp.

The advert for this holiday home is very misleading, it states on the facilities that it has DVD and Blu Ray player. It also shows pictures of towels on the beds and advertises toiletries too. We took our own towels and toiletries however if someone had took the description literally and relied on there being towels and toiletries they would have been stumped. We often like to browse charity shops solely to have a bit of fun picking a couple of old DVDs to play in the evening. we were very disappointed that there was no DVD player as advertised. The sofa was very uncomfortable to sit in the evening. The bed was very comfy with a TV in the bedroom, unfortunately it had no remote control which meant you had to get up and down to change the channel or turn the volume up and down a bit annoying in this the 21st century. After a couple of days I expressed my concerns to the owner. she apologised and offered to bring her kids blu ray player, she said that she had taken all the items out the previous year due to covid restrictions. I pointed out that was a year ago. I said i wasn't usually someone who would complain but the description of facilities was very misleading. she then sent text messages saying how stressed and busy she was and she had been unwell she said they were also running a hotel in Weymouth. To be honest this fell on deaf ears particularly as i had not long myself finished treatment for lung cancer. The owner apologised. she offered her club pass, i thanked her for the offer but declined. I feel my concerns were not adequately addressed. she said she was going to change the listing and had been meaning to do it for some time. If you are going with kids you need to factor in club passes which will probably cost extra the site itself with 2 pools and big show bar does look great for kids.

Property was located very close to facilities which was great. Fridge was not working on arrival and the owners left a counter fridge which was perfect, new one was fitted in week. The biggest problem was you had to get passes from the park upon arrival which meant they were all sold out. Owners need to arrange passes in advance for future guests. Overall a wonderful property on a lovely location.

The caravan is so well kept, comfortable and cosy. The owners were friendly and arranged check in very easily. The caravan site is wonderful, pretty quiet and offered nice sea views and a short work to the club house!

The wifi, was pretty much non existent I’m not sure if this is common on most caravan sites but we couldn’t connect to put on Netflix, but to be fair we wasn’t in the caravan much to be bothered by this! Maybe someone who doesn’t get out much of the caravan would find this frustrating.

The whole booking process, the caravan was spacious clean and in an amazing spot. The owners were really friendly and helpful and it was in a fabulous place close to lots of sightseeing places :) definitely use this caravan again

The current restrictions meant that most of the onsite facilities were not open. Although the indoor pool was open you could not pay for just the use of the pool, we had to buy entertainment passes but this cost us £60 which is a lot for 1 hour pool time per day any other available activities were at a cost on top of this. This does not reflect the caravan booked though the owners were amazing throughout and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay just disappointed with Havens policy.
