We love this period cottage located just half a mile from Weymouth’s bustling harbourside and golden sandy beaches.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom 2: Zip And Link Double Bed (2 x Singles On Request). Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for open fire included. Welcome pack. Enclosed back garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Newstead Cottage is a charming holiday home that has recently been renovated and now offers fantastic accommodation for four guests. The cottage offers solar panel power, two double bedrooms, a modern stylish bathroom with bath, separate showe and shaving socket, a cosy sitting room separate dining room with open fire and a modern well-equipped kitchen. Outside the cottage offers a westerly-facing garden with off-road parking for two.
This is an excellent location to enjoy Weymouth’s beach, harbour, shops, and many family attractions. There is world-famous sailing on offer with the National Sailing Academy which was home to the 2012 sailing Olympics. Fishing, swimming, and boating are available locally, as well as coastal walking along Chesil Beach and Portland which are all part of the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coastline. The property is also within easy driving distance of Dorchester, Bridport, and Abbotsbury, with its swannery and tropical gardens. With so many places to discover locally, you may not venture far, however, a little further afield, you will find plenty of places to explore from the wonders of the New Forest national park to a fun-filled day at Paulton’s Park to the east or head west along the Jurassic Coastline and explore, wonderful coves, coastal towns and breath-taking scenery Whatever your reason for choosing Newstead Cottage, we are certain it will have you longing to return.
