A perfect retreat near the sea.

A lovely modern yet comfortable retreat. Had all mod cons and nicely furnished and little shower extras. . We also had the option to use Jacuzzi and the gymnasium. Which looked amazing! Would highly recommend staying at Joes retreat.

£50 extra for a dog to stay overnight

Impressive accommodation...however booking it was very stressful. Beware if you have a dog. I booked a non refundable overnight stay 2 weeks before the actual date. It stated that dogs included in the price ... but after l paid, the confirmation stated that a £50 fee is required for a pet. I immediately contacted the owner who had no idea about the pet free offer. He said l would have to pay an extra £50 for an overnight stay. I asked if l could cancel the booking and I sent him a screenshot of the offer. He said I could cancel and told me to go through booking.com - which l did. However the owner refused to refund the payment of £158 as it was the non refundable option. Very disappointing.

Everything! Well equipped, clean, modern. It had everything we needed even bathrobes! Nicely decorated. 10/10 We absolutely loved the hot tub! Joe was a fantastic host. Attentive, friendly and helpful. We’re very happy from our stay.

Location is good, 20 mins drive from the beach.

Cot bed was not provided, Hot tub's water was not clean, not allowed to check in until 3.10 pm, found broken piece of crockery in the room, room size is quite small.

Perfect property for our short stay

Super clean property with all the amenities needed for our stay. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the property and our stay was during the warm weather so we were also appreciative of the A/C! We found the location great for visiting both Sandbanks beach and Bournemouth beach (slightly further out) by car. Joe is one of the most responsive hosts that I've encountered, with his fast replies and messages to check if he could be of any assistance.

Sofa bed wasn't very comfortable to sleep on but the double bed was very comfortable.

Really enjoyed the stay would stay again great location everything you need there Didn’t enjoy paying 20 pound on top to use the hot tube for the night didn’t feel very private when in the hot tube due. to security camera and pull over screen to block the view from the road

Very clean and spacious area. Not far from the main road and provides a parking spot.

It isn't particularly close to anything if you're walking. You need a car to enjoy the area - petrol station is around the corner. You have to pay to use the hot tub.
