Amazing building. Lots of space- perfect for a large group

Fourteen of us, staying for the 2nd time, so we knew what to expect. It's comfortable and cosy but most definitely not posh. Heating works well. Kitchen extremely well appointed and stocked. Love the giant dining table and the lounge below.
Musty smell in a few rooms. It's built into the hillside and an old building, so inevitably a bit dark and spooky, but as I said we've been here before so we were prepared.

Extraordinary place. Wonderful amount of space for an extended family to spread out into.
The place is old and a bit worn but I was expecting that.

Large living room and dining room were absolutely perfect for a large group and the log fire was amazing. Location was also incredible with a pub right next door and lots of walks nearby. Property had a lot of character.
The shower on the middle floor was broken and a lot of the ensuites were behind curtains rather than doors which felt a bit less private!
