Stainsborough Hall Holiday Cottages

We rented the cottage collection and the barn for a family get together. It was perfect for our group. Well equipped, comfortable, clean and in a lovely quiet location. Great views from the cottages. Our only problem was we wished we had booked for longer. Hope to book again for next year

We loved our stay at Lathkill cottage at Stainsborough Hall. The location is perfect with Matlock and Matlock Bath within a short distance. It was clean, warm, the beds were so comfortable and the shower was really good as well. Everything is provided for self catering and parking was easy, just outside of the front door. The hosts were easily contactable and communication was great. The view from the back garden of the cottage is gorgeous and the enclosed grassy area just through the gate was great for playing with the dog. There are some lovely local walks and the local scenery is stunning. We would love to have stayed longer and hope to return another time soon, thank you Joanne and team at Stainsborough Hall.

Lovely location with private garden. Very nice bathroom, bedrooms, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen.

Only minor complaint was that the back door to the garden was very difficult to lock. And there did appear to be several flies in the property over the two days but this could have just been a result of the recent warm weather

Beautiful location, fantastic place to meet with friends.
