Horrible experience. Definitely not worth the money. Unsafe, filthy and disfunctional facilities.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. This place was a complete run down structure. I really don't recommend anyone to book here. I don't even want to waste time describing it all. I come from a "third world" country and even we have far better facilities than this hell hole. I don't even know how they are still in business. All the facilities are disgustingly filthy. They don't even have secure locks. DO NOT book here if you're a vulnerable person. It is not safe. I honestly wish I could get back my money. Horrible experience. Forgot to mention....the "heater" doesn't even work! Cold night..... Maybe even that would have given them a star.

No access to the toilet or bathroom. Bathroom was in a common part behind a locked door. My key was supposed to open this door (I got 2 keys), but it did not work. When I contacted the property I was only told to follow the instructions on the website. However the instructions said to unlock the door with the key.... So no support

I mean if option B was sleeping in the street, I would honestly recommend it. Everything was dirty, the bathroom, the kitchen, and even the bed. For a low-budget place, I don’t expect much, but basic cleaning is the minimum. If you want to save money, book a bed in a dorm, not this place. Very disappointing, and I wouldn’t return.

I had already messaged the agency on Airbnb. The place was completely dirty — the kitchen, the bathroom, everything. The bathroom was like a horror movie, it was really, really dirty. The room smelled terrible and had stains. The noise was unbearable, day and night, every single day, even while I was working. There was also smoke coming from something inside the room, which made it hard to breathe. Horrible experience — it felt like a horror movie.

Glad I left because was not a nice place to stay

Terrible, horrific, disgusting and the worst experience ever. Don’t even think about making a reservation with them. Rooms super dirty , roofs falling apart , nasty beds , nasty rooms. They don’t have reception so everything is through instructions that are not clear and they long to answer back.

Never Book this Place

The room we were given had a strong, unbearable smell of diesel, making it impossible to stay inside. The whole place is a ruine. The room was in very poor condition – there are large stains, peeling paint, and visible holes in the ceiling. The bathroom was unhygienic, with black mold, crumbling plaster that literally falls from the ceiling, and generally dirty conditions. And that's all was absolutely dirty. Even late in the evening (around 10 PM), there was construction work happening inside the building — with loud cutting tools in use. So, hands away from this place

I booked the property because it had score 4.0 which means its almost halfway to best scored property 8.0. I am quite puzzled how did this property scored so high with so many negative and bad reviews. Booking.com need to re-evaluate property score from 4.0 to 1.0 so that the traveler is not disappointed with the services.

The property's hygiene condition is of very poor standard, the bathroom and kitchen has stains all over the place and fungus on curtains and places. Before you enter the apartment building each time, you need to login to city-home.ch/key page and enter booking number. So be aware of have strong mobile data while travelling abroad. The deposit of 100 CHF should have been included in the booking cost, it looks a bit fraud that the deposit message appears when you have booked the property. It does not allow you to cancel if you don't want to pay deposit, the website is non-responsive. I never got a response for cancellation because I didn't want to pay deposit.

Worst place you could find. It stinks, the plaster is crumbling. The door to the toilet doesn’t close, you just hope no one comes in while you’re in there. The whole place is in a terrible state. There are no sockets. The lock on the door to the rooms was broken off and a padlock was put on top for 5 euros. To go to the toilet from your room you have to go on a quest of opening and closing a bunch of locks and find all the light switches, which are in unexpected places . Bed linen seems to be no one washes or washes rarely. In the kitchen is a mess, dishes are almost no there is one fork, one teaspoon and a tablespoon and a couple of plates. The pots and pans are terrible to use, they’re terrible. I wonder why they charge a deposit of CHF 100 ?

Apart from a roof over my head it was shit

There was a cut hole in the ceiling meaning I paid for less than a complete room. Smelt of cigarettes and the bathroom shower was a tube that had no curtains meaning water went everywhere. I asked for some compensation for these thing and they responded with zero care. Never staying here again

Only 5 minutes walk from Oerlikon train station.

Room #6 is a former smoker’s room. The stench is still lingering. Locks on bathroom doors don‘t work. Overall very run down and slightly gross. Staying longer than one night would likely be highly unpleasant.

We had a very hard time staying at this place with family. There were no doors, the lock was broken. The bathroom ceiling was leaking. The smell of the entire place was awful. I request a refund and would like to report fraud. I request booking.com not to encourage such hotels. Please find the pictures attached.

You get what you pay for, and they were quick to send my deposit back.

There was no shower open to me. It said on my app that there were bathrooms present, but in the evening / next morning when I wanted to shower residents of the area I was directed to told me no. No problems, I find somewhere else. Bigger issue was no charging ports anywhere in the room - very irritating. Other than that, great location and good value for money. But would have been nice to know it is only so cheap as there is no proper toilet facilities and charging ports. Also, the key code I was given for access to a key was wrong so I phoned to ask what the code was (they only spoke German on the phone - no problem I can speak a little German too, but I can imagine difficult for other tourists) and we’re very unfriendly witn me over phone about this even though this was their issue! Made me feel small. Notwithstanding, for the price and location I would stay here again, but let people know What they’re getting in to!

100% Disappointment. Never again. We had to wait almost an hour just to get inside the building because the operator didn’t confirm our request in time. This already created a stressful start to our stay. The condition of the place was terrible: door handles were broken or missing, it was freezing inside — we had to sleep in our clothes, felt like spending the night in a morgue. There was no clean bedding, and only one chair for five guests. Honestly, animals on farms probably live in better conditions. €170 for this? Absolutely ridiculous. I strongly do not recommend it.

The room was in bad condition.. the bed were dirty and it looked liked the bedsheets has not been changed, the bathroom was leaking a lot we were not able to take a bath along with that we informed everything to the owner but he did not take any action. The washroom was so old fashion with no bidet and wash basin to wash your hands, it is very old and need some reconstruction as the wall fell off while we were getting ready. We paid 120€ for a night and not worth it

After I've received the keys from a lady with poor communication not from the safe and review the room and facilities, and as well bathroom. WC and common kitchen I realized that I wouldn't sleep there at all and found as soon as possible another accommodation. There was four rooms with common kitchen, WC and bathroom. Low hygiene. A quilt, sheet had a query cleanliness as the towels, Old and broken furniture. Smell of some kind of fuel in the room from the heater. I always had respect to Booking com and didn't realize haw thew can offer such kind of places. Conditions in refugee camps sometimes are better=

W pokoju było bardzo zimno. Nie było możliwości zamknięcia okna, a ogrzewanie praktycznie nie istniało. Mały głośno pracujący grzejnik przez którego hałas nie dało się spać. Pokoje jak i reszta pomieszczeń w ruinie. Zdecydowałem się na nocleg w tym hotelu ze względu na lokalizację. Chciałem się tylko przespać jedną noc ale to co zastałem mnie przerosło. Jedna wielka porażka. Lepiej przespać się w aucie niż w tym pseudo hotelu.

Chambre sale et froide, bâtiment mal entretenu

J'ai apprécié l'emplacement car il était juste à côté de mon événement et à deux pas de la gare.

J’avais lu quelques commentaires disant que la chambre était moyenne, mais je ne pensais pas que ce serait à ce point. Certes, l’emplacement est très bon et le tarif tout à fait correct — c’est d’ailleurs pour cela que j’avais choisi cet hôtel pour passer seulement quelques heures, après être rentré tard sans train pour repartir. Mais dès l’entrée dans le bâtiment, tout paraît négligé : les parties communes sont sales, et la chambre l’était également. Je ne me suis pas du tout senti à l’aise et j’ai préféré partir bien plus tôt que prévu. Il faisait froid dans la chambre et je n’ai même pas utilisé les toilettes, tant leur état me rebutait. Dommage, car le potentiel est là, mais la propreté et l’entretien sont vraiment à revoir.

Non lo consiglio ad alcuno.

Non c’era nulla di funzionante e nemmeno di funzionale (Internet non ha mai funzionato). Dell’accoglienza poi non ne parliamo. Bagno era sporchissimo, la stanza freddissima, la sporcizia ovunque la cucina inaccessibile al di sotto dei limiti accettabili della decenza in bagno mancava tutto. La doccia era completamente aperta quindi il pavimento si bagnava costantemente, perché mancava inoltre anche il tappeto, c’era freddo ovunque, molto sporco ovunque, non si trovavano né scope né spazzoloni né strofinacci, per pulire, mancavano addirittura i sacchetti e i secchielli per l’immondizia, per la quale ci siamo dovuti arrangiare in autonomia con un sacchetto, l’unica cosa che è funzionata è stato il sistema di pagamento e anche di accesso online alla struttura.

L'emplacement est très bien, proche de la gare de Oerlikon et dee plusieurs trams menants à la gare de Zürich.

La chambre et les accomodations étaient extrêmement sales. Il était clair qu'ils n'avaient pas été aspirés ni lavés depuis longtemps. On a trouvé un mégot dans notre chambre. ils y avait des miettes dans le lit.
