Nice stay in Koh lanta

The room was large and comfortable. Loved having the robes and super plush slippers. Nice having the separate tub and shower. Comfortable beds. Great having the pool right out the back door. Nice daily breakfast buffet with good variety. Walking distance along the beach to many bars and restaurants.

The biggest downside was not nearly enough beach loungers for the size of the property. There was the early morning scramble with everyone trying to reserve the few available chairs. There is always space on the sand of course, but there is plenty of room for the hotel to add more loungers. The property could use a little maintenance in places like the fountain out front. But overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would return!

Outstanding location and great staff

The room was in easy walking distance to the beach, beachfront bar, and breakfast. We were able to walk to an adjacent properties for excellent fish and Indian food.

Understanding the layout of the property was tough. Would have been nice to have a simple map showing walking paths to pool and lobby. The pool had features such as built-in Spa seats and fountains which were not operational.

Very disappointing

This place was probably very nice 20 years ago, but the current condition is disappointing. The room is not clean (dirty mirror, stained glasses and lamp), very dark due to broken lighting, and opening the curtains means no privacy. Daily “cleaning” only means replacing water bottles — towels were never changed even when left on the floor, despite what’s stated in the Do & Don’ts booklet (pictures after the daily cleaning are attached). WiFi barely works, and the AC is very loud, takes 3–4 hours to cool the room, and noise is also heard from other rooms.

This is not a 4* hotel

Quiet- spacious room- laundry service- good breakfast

the hotel is not a 4 star hotel as advertised- I did not dare to go into the swimming pool as it did not seem clean. It is in a very quiet location, no shops nearby. nothing going on in the evening- This place needs to be looked after a bit more- it has potential- I imagine people staying in bungalows had probably a better experience, since they are closer to the beach. The sun beds mattresses were very dirty, and not enough for the guests- the garden is not looked after that well, such a shame- considering the price I really expected a nicer experience.

Could have been amazing unfortunately the weather was not good.

Shame the grounds around the hotel are run down and pathways very dirty. Loved the location to beach and local restaurants. Unfortunately it rained much of our week there so will have to return. Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds comfy.

The hotel is lacking but lovely location

It had a nice clean main pool although jets etc did not work and had lots of broken deck chairs. Rooms was clean

It was in desperate need of renovation. Half of the hotel has been left to rot and deteriorate. The pool is nice and the beach is nice but if you want a drink you need to walk from one end to the other and it’s not a short walk. No service from any staff etc. so no drinks or ice cream by the pool. Breakfast was poor and made my partner sick.

The hotel that time forgot. Depressing and disappointing.

The room was comfortable.

We did not feel welcomed on arrival - first impressions were not good e.g. ornamental pool at reception was empty - and we did not get a welcome drink which we had come to expect at all other hotels. We asked to see the room and this was not received well. However, we persisted and on seeing it decided the position was not what we wanted. We were offered a room closer to the beach for which we had to pay extra. The area of the property was very large and required a shuttle bus to get from room to front desk. One pool was closed (under construction?) another was very far from the room and looked poorly maintained if, in fact, it was open, which seemed doubtful. The whole area appeared abandoned with whole blocks of rooms unoccupied and empty. It lacked any atmosphere and staff were not particularly solicitous. We read reviews and could not believe that people had stayed at the same place (or must have had very low expectations). Overall it was a depressing place and we cut short our stay by three days losing a substantial part of our payment.

- Beachfront location was absolutely perfect - Huge room and bathroom with everything you need - No bar but lots of other options along the beach - Read quite a few review comments about the limited breakfast options but felt it was perfectly adequate ( especially for the money ) and, if anything, just added to the whole laid back vibe - Travel consultant on site who can take care of taxis, boat, bike hire etc

- We were a little worried as we drove off the main road through the site as it looks like a ghost town but so glad we didn't cut & run as the bungalow portion of the site is lovely

Great position and a beautiful private beach on which questionably renewed facilities need a serious facelift♥️

We got upgraded to the beachfront villa after 24 hours of massive failures of every possible appliances in the previous bungalow and several complaints . The villa was heavenly placed few steps from the shore, and had a lot of space available. Also, the beach has no rocks and it’s lovely to swim in it.

The first bungalow that was assigned to us was a complete disaster. Airco was not cooling (spent a night sweating), there was no warm water (then no water at all), electricity went off several times. The sink was dripping. The bungalow was dirty, with dust in the dressing. Even after cleaning, I had to ask the cleaning service to fix basic things like cleaning windows, or the daybed surface.

C’est un établissement où il y a un manque de personnel formé pour ce métier et pas de manageur,surtout au niveau de la restauration. L’espace petit déjeuner ressemble à une cantine scolaire,c’est sale bruyant,et la nourriture est très basique. Il n’y a pas assez de transat que ce soit à la plage ou à la piscine, ce n’est pas normal pour un établissement de cette taille, donc les gens les réservent avant même le petit déjeuner. Les rares sont alignés en rang devant la plage!! Pas de parasol non plus .

Buen hotel, bonito!

Las habitaciones eran amplias, cómodas y limpias. El personal atento y amable.

- Para ser una habitación grande habían muy pocos (creo que solo 2) enchufes para conectar tus dispositivos y ninguno estaba cerca a la cama. Incluso había una mesa con una lampara la cual solo estaba de adorno porque no tenía donde conectarse. Lo mismo con el hervidor de agua, estaba en una ubicación donde no tenia como funcionar. - Si bien el hotel es lindo y muy grande, siento que le falta mucho mantenimiento. - La recepción no funciona 24 horas. Tuvimos un incidente una de las noches donde entraron algunas lagartijas a la habitación y estuvimos llamando pero nunca contestaron (fuimos a recepción y no había nadie tampoco). - Pedimos una piña colada en el bar de la piscina y estuvo MUY mala jaja no la pidan!! Sin embargo, al dia siguiente pedimos otros cocteles en el bar de la playa y si que estuvieron mejor.

Anlage hatte 4 Sterne aber vor 20 Jahren! Seit dem wurde entweder nichts oder nur das nötigste gemacht! Anlage wurde nur ausgenutzt entsprechend das Geld von Besucher. Gebäuden oder unsere Strand Villa nicht nur renovierungsbedürftig! Frühstück hat nichts mit Thai-Früchstück oder 4-Sterne Frühstück zu tun! Kommen Sie früher damit Sie was kriegen

La ubicación en la playa. 30 segundos de la habitación a la orilla.

El desayuno de los primeros días no era buffet, si no un plato a elegir. Los baños de la playa muy viejos y mal cuidados. En general falta de cuidado. Pero para ser Ko Lanta era correcto y estuvimos agusto!
