The Nest at Deneside

It is a very well thought out use of a small area, from inside and out. Very clean, and quiet being away from main roads, and off road parking is great. There was everything that was needed bath towels, toiletries, teabags, coffee, milk, biscuits, crisps and wine on arrival, blankets, bowls, for dogs, everything has been thought of. The outside area is small, but fine for what we needed, furniture is there and substantial, best thing this week was the sun shade that’s available and boy did we need it, as it was so hot, great to keep us and the dog cool, but also inside. Hosts are lovely and happy to help if needed. It’s everything that is says it is, a perfect 10 out of 10 for us and we hope to go back!

The room was so comfortable and clean, and it felt like the hosts had made a real effort to make it welcoming. It was also very well equipped with anything you could need on a short stay. We both loved our time here!

Wat een fantastisch verblijf! Het appartement was kraaknet, gezellig ingericht en werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien. We werden ontzettend gastvrij ontvangen met koekjes, chips, wijn, melk en zelfs lekkers voor het ontbijt – een heel leuke verrassing! Ook de communicatie verliep perfect. Alles rond het parkeren werd duidelijk uitgelegd, waardoor we zonder zorgen aankwamen. Het grote bed sliep heerlijk en zowel de keuken als de badkamer waren volledig uitgerust met alles wat we nodig hadden. Als extra troef was er op het terras zelfs een pizzaoven, barbecue en een kast vol spelletjes. Er was echt aan alles gedacht. We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf en hadden met plezier nog wat langer gebleven. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Absoluut een aanrader! 🌟

Eventueel nog iets waar we onze bagage op konden zetten want nu moesten we deze op grond zetten.

Everything was great! Well set out and furnished detached annex, equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Quiet location with the bonus of a private patio with sun sail for shading. Communication was clear and speedy and the welcome basket/touches were very thoughtful. The shower gel, shampoo and conditioner pumps in the shower were very handy. Very good value, a short drive to the Forest of Dean and 12 minute walk into Cinderford town centre for local amenities. Wonderful views of the sunset from town/road into town. We would definitely stay again.
