Seaway Cottage, Aldeburgh

Fantastic location. Great space. Comfy beds with nice clean bedding.

Could have been a bit more care taken with the cleaning. Dusty bedside lights and the windows were filthy! They are covered by shutters to be fair (also very dusty) but it was very hot so we opened them. Overall a fab property but they need to look at the cleaning.

It was a fantastic place to stay. We came in February and not all accommodation can offer such a cosy and welcoming stay, this one definitely did.. The quality of everything there was very good.

It's hard to find anything, being ultra picky, the 3rd bedroom window was a bit drafty for the head of the bed to be under it, but we were there in very windy and wet weather.

The location is perfect, close to the sea and all local shops and restaurants. The cottage has character and is very nicely furnished. The kitchen was generally well equipped.

A few small things - 2 of the bedroom lamps were not working ( a bulb in one and the on/off pull switch in another). We asked about coffee making before we arrived but had no reply. The stove top coffee maker had no seal and therefore not enough pressure and the coffee machine was full of scale and water did not feed through. We bought a filter coffee plunger. For 6 adults it was tight- only seating for 5 around the table. The images did make it look bigger than it was.
