Enjoyed the property and so near to everything.

Clean, comfortable and pleasant.

We only had a short stay of one night. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and easy to access. This is our second stay at this property and would recommend.

Only issue the sink plug in the bathroom did not hold water properly and we have mentioned this to the owner.

Visiting Brightlingsea for the annual pantomime

My 3rd visit. The decor is beautiful and everything tasteful. Plenty of space & big bathroom. It was nice & warm, although some instructions on how to regulate the heaters would have been helpful. Off street parking was appreciated.

I had hoped to book the twin room but it was unavailable, so had to use the sofa bed option in the "family room". We had to search for the bedding for the sofa bed which was not nicely folded ready for use, but screwed up in a drawer. Nice to have tea making facilities, but teaspoons should also be supplied. I didn't feel it was value for money, as I did on previous visits in the twin room.

The bedroom was comfortable and clean with good shower enjoyed our stay.

Sadly the kitchen needed sprucing up. It felt grimy.

A regular clean by cleaner to remove flies on window sills, stained sink greasy air fryer. Kettle in common room not working

We loved it and when back in Brightlingsea we will definitely use again.

Homely feel, bed was super comfy.

Shower was slow and couldn't seem to adjust the temperature (was very very hot).

Very comfortable room in a great location.

Really comfortable room that was immaculate and very well kept. The location is literally right in the centre of town between three pubs and within a couple of minutes of the shops. Plenty of storage. We stayed in the family room which has a sofa bed and a really lovely bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities and an effective mini fridge in the room.

The communal kitchen area was very cold - I turned on the heating but it wasn’t a particularly great space to spend time in. Lack of hob meant cooking options are limited. Room was a little too warm with the rather fierce electric heaters that were difficult to control and we found that the expanding and contracting roof rafters made lots of creaking noises at night.

Lovely little room. Very well presented. Usual tea and coffe making facilities and a small fridge are all supplied in room. This is board only accomodation but there is a communal are with facilities for food prep. there is secure onsite parking, but it is a little limited. overall a lovely place to stay. clean, comfy and ideal location in the town centre..

Perfect for what we needed it for, just let down by the shower, but would stay again.

The accommodation was lovely, with the un-suite too, nicely decorated. Plenty of useful things to use in the room i.e. hairdryer, fan, mini fridge, toiletries, towels, kettle, refreshments - tea/coffee/biscuits and tv. We managed to park outside our room, which was perfect for me as I'm having trouble going upstairs.

The shower had no hot water. We managed with the cold water as it was a hot day and there was hot water on the sink taps. We did look all around to see if there was a switch to turn the hot water on, but could not find anything. So we reckon the thermostat must have broke, which needs to be looked at.

Great place to stay!

Great location, easy to find. Gated parking right outside the door. Very comfortable beds. The 10.30 vacation time is great. We have stayed with Victoria and will come to visit again!

Really enjoyed the Courtyard and would happily stay there again

A very cosy room,nice and warm on a cold February. Excellent bathroom/shower well appointed with toiletries and big fluffy towels. Plenty of storage space and the "lounge" area across the courtyard was a super idea. It was quiet during my stay so on-site parking was nice and easy

Communication regarding key codes. I drove around for a bit wondering how to get in! But a quick phone call sorted things out and from there on everything was straight forward.

Comfortable with all facilities

Very comfortable bed and nice decor. Small fridge in room. Room only but communal dinning room looked good although we didn’t use it as eating with family who we were visiting. Excellent central location with many amenities close by.

It was relaxed, well presented and very enjoyable.

I liked the general appearance of the whole place. The outside of the property was very well maintained and the room was decorated to a high standard and spotless. It very cosy with a homely feel. It was very easy to book and the lady I spoke to was very helpful and friendly.

It was all lovely.
