A great break away. If you want to be right in the heart of Carlisle but have some peace and quiet, then this is the pla

Easy to find and central but you feel as if you are tucked away, hidden from everything. Easy to follow instructions to get into the room. Bathroom was great and it has almost everything you could need. Joe even left some wine and shortbread for us upon our arrival. Great little touch!

Could do with bigger towels and some body wash to go along with the shampoo. Only small things that I’d change. Everything else was top notch.

A hidden gem in a great location

A hidden gem in a great location. This place was exceptional, met all our expectations & more, a beautiful good sized modern spotless apartment in a superb location where everything was nearby, pubs, restaurants, train station & shops all within short walking distance from each other. The apartments location sits just a street off from the main road in its own private entrance hallway which leads onto its own private garden terrace & into the properties patio door entrance. Apartment is well kitted out with everything you need, sofa, big smart tv, fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, bed is very comfortable, great sized bathroom/wet room. We will definitely be back to this apartment in the future. We sadly never met the owner during our stay but they had left us a nice welcoming package & clear instructions how to collect keys, connect to WiFi & work the heating system, etc...

Only downside of the apartment & am being very particular here, was that we found it very warm even though heating was off, seemed to have not much natural ventilation flowing through the apartment, although there was a fantastic floor fan provided which helped with air flow. Certainly wouldn't put me off booking my stay here again as this apartment has far to many positives to be put off by personal opinions...

Great studio in an excellent location

Very good location, well equipped, very clean, quiet. Welcome pack of wine and biscuits. Good communication.

Despite the fan it was a little stuffy because of the hot weather and the fact that there are no opening windows, only the large sliding doors, so can’t leave open at night.

Like a great studio flat

Great place right in the centre of Carlisle. Has fridge/freezer, oven and microwave. In fact a neat kitchen area at one end of the room. Bathroom has a beautiful shower and heated towel rail. The bed was very comfortable. There is a little court yard outside the sliding door that is not overlooked.

Great base to explore from

It has a great location with fair priced parking close by, but its only a very short walk from the train station too. It is very clean and has a lovely warm feel to the place. A real hideaway and I'll definitely be returning for a nice relaxing weekend with my partner.

The mattress is memory foam, which is very comfy, its just I prefer a firmer mattress. But honestly for a couple of nights it wasn't a problem.

Location so convenient. Very close to city centre restaurants. Small bottle of Prosecco and chocolates a nice touch.

Heating difficult to adjust to get comfortable temperature. Lighting looked good but either too bright or too low. Alexa didn’t seem to do anything.

Didn't like how the apartment next to me had the window facing into the courtyard with the window open, so it didn't feel very private.

Always a superb property to stay whenever is available and I'm in the area.

Having stayed at this property before, it is on my favourites list, and I always aim to book it if it's free on the dates that I require. The property is incredibly well appointed, Joe's communication, the owner, is second to none and the property is indeed a credit to him. Comfortable, quiet, relaxing, in close proximity from local amenities... what else can you ask for? Highly recommended.

Perfect very comfortable 3 night stay.

Absolutely beautiful large stand alone studio type apartment. Private & quiet, perfectly situated for our needs with a small but adequate outdoor space. Able to park outside the front door to unload and then parked on the hotel carpark just off the main road. We were visiting for a weekend of music at The Brickyard some 10 mins walk away. Super comfortable bed and sofa for napping on. Several places close by to eat at or for a take away although we catered for ourselves on this occasion, M&S food hall in walking distance. Can recommend the chippie just around the corner, beautiful cheese and potato pattie😋 and it opens till late. Kitchen has sufficient in it to put together your own meals. Just to note the coffee maker is a Dolce Gusto not a Nespresso, we took the wrong pods but didn’t lose any sleep over it! The only thing I would consider is possibly a small table by the sofa, could be portable, just to pop your cuppa on. I was forever in fear of knocking it over and making a mess. But by no means a negative.

This is a little hidden gem, you are right in the middle of the town centre but where the accommodation is it’s tucked away from all the hustle and bustle. Had a good night sleep no disturbances fabulous.

Couldn’t believe how quiet it was considering the central location! Very cozy and clean, and loved the addition of the Alexa and the Prosecco and chocolates when we arrived!

Enjoyable stay in good location.

Good layout in the Annex with a clean and spacious feel for 2 people. Liked having the speaker for some music as it made you feel at home.

The shower flooded a bit as the water did not drain away quickly enough. It was very warm in the property at night and we didn’t seem to be able to turn the bathroom radiator down.

From clear and accurate instructions for the self check in to the bottle of fizz and chocolates to welcome us everything about our stay was done properly and with generosity. Ideally situated near to station and town centre with several good restaurants nearby yet completely quiet and peaceful. Comfortable, spacious and warm.

Lovely place but false advertising as no free parking

The annex was beautiful and had everything I needed including a box of chocolates and some prosecco (though I left this as it's not my thing). The facilities are very good and it was quiet-ish. Easy to get in and out and good communication with the owner.

I'm a light sleeper so the hum of the fridge turning on and off during the night was a bit annoying and the light outside in the private courtyard stayed on all night. My big gripe with this property was the false information when booking, It says 'free parking' but this isn't true. I got a message from the owner telling me that there was in fact no free parking by the premises and I had to cross over the road to get free parking in the street opposite. This is not what I class as free parking as it was not a guarantee, and not surprisingly the street was full when I arrived. The next best thing was a car park opposite, which cost £8 for the night. I wouldn't have minded paying if I knew that from the start there wasn't parking available but to find out after I had booked was disappointing.

Overnight stop on my travels

A very well apportioned and kitted out apartment. It was comfortable, spacious and clean. Great instructions were sent by the host, and a lovely welcome pack on arrival. We'll most certainly come back if we visit the area.

Really, really good value for money

Location was fabulous. The Annex was stylish and roomy. The washing machine was great. No dryer but not a problem for us. Really quiet and private.

The parking can be a bit of an issue. You can park opposite in the hotel car park for a very reasonable rate. Access to it is a bit fiddly but our GPS sorted that out. Free parking is available after 6pm on nearby side streets. Also, the Annex really needs somewhere to hang up clothes. Minor issues really.
