Luminous apartment in the middle of Paris located between the 13th and 5th arrondissements, next to the buzzling Butte-aux-Cailles area with many bars, cafes and restaurants nearby and a few public gardens (1min from metro Glacière on line 6, 15min from Denfert Rochereau or Place d’Italie on foot, under 30min from all major tourist destinations including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph and the Louvre)
The appartement has room for up to 6 people with 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room (sofa bed for 2), and separate dining, and kitchen spaces. One of the bedrooms has a bed only 125cm wide, so may not fit all couples.
The balcony has a view on the Pantheon and the Val de Grace and the other side of the appartement gives a breath taking view of south Paris. The apartment has no or limited vis-à-vis on all sides as the apartment is on the 9th floor with an east-west exposure.
Caution, a couple stairs are required to access the elevator so we do not recommend this flat for people in wheelchairs.

Nice bright appartment with fully equipped kitchen. Good location with plenty of restaurants nearby but also easy access to amenities and a metro station just across the street.

Communication with the host was stellar. It was clear when we arrived that this is not a seasoned host / rental property. Basic amenities were missing such as soap and shampoo. Only one key was provided which proved challenging because you needed a key fob to get in and out of the building. If our group didn’t go together we had to figure out logistics before we left. Cleanliness was not great. Beds were not good. On a positive note, it was across from the metro so we could get where we were going quickly. Lots of restaurants close by and a grocery store within steps of the building.
