Salatoos Mango Garden and Guesthouse

Salatoos Mango Garden ist ein großartiges Guest house direkt am westlichen Nilufer in Assuan gelegen. Ihr könnt dort entspannt abseits des Trubels von Assuan campen und seit dennoch dank der nahen Fähre oder auch des Bootsshuttleservice von Salatoo schnell an den touristischen Hotspots. Eine Bootstour in das Kataraktgebiet ist ebenso möglich und sehr zu empfehlen. Es gibt jeden Tag Frühstück Mittagessen und Abendessen frisch zubereitet. Ich kenne ihn ganz Ägypten keinen besseren Ort zum entspannten verweilen. Wolfgang Waldorf aus Deutschland

Le site est incroyable, j’ai aimé être proche de la nature au bord du Nil . L’accueil chaleureux, les repas partagés. L’aide et les contacts proposés par l’hôte son d’une grande aide et fiable pour visiter au mieux cette région.

So many things: the place is gorgeous right by the Nile, with so many trees, flowers, places to relax both in shades and sun. They really consider you as part of their community, it was great to get to know local people, local customs. As it was Ramadan, we all went to eat Iftar several evenings in a row with Salatoo, what a magical experience each time !!! Tent was good with enough blankets to not be cold and mattress. You choose where you want them to set up your tent. I asked for tent to be by the Nile River, loved the setting both at night and during the day. Waking up with this view was perfect. Breakfast is very good. I loved having the possibility to use the kitchen and their herbal tea :) They even offered me to take sope fresh basil from their garden. Wow !!

Only bad thing to improve I would say is Internet connection. It was a great way to disconnect, but except in early morning, wifi was really not stable other parts of the day. A bit difficult. But I think it can be easily fixed with stronger router or several routers/wifi.
