Simple but beautiful and clean property. Very friendly and kind staff who ensured my comfort.
More of caution to travellers that disabled people may struggle to get around due to lack of adjustments. Property has no lift so request ground floor room if you struggle with stairs though roof top roofs have fantastic views.
Lots of stairs and no lifts from boat/ferry when travelling to and from elephantine island.

This place is a real issue on Elephantine Island -- modern, spacious, extremely clean and well-run, with good air-conditioning, strong Internet, an onsite restaurant with good food, and a beautiful location amidst the village life of Elephantine. It's great value for money. Only five minutes' walk from the ferry. There's an economical laundry service, and they can also arrange tours to local sites, as far afield as Abu Simbel.
My only complaint is that they ran out of cold Stella beer halfway through my stay, but I might have had something to do with that. 😉 Otherwise, it's another nice feature of the place.

Charming quaint and authentic guest house off the beaten track on elephantine island. Very clean, well equipped , excellent food and staff. Access to little swim spots and beaches on boat. Perfect for the curious traveller!

The room was clean and spacious with a high ceiling.
The room was not as it was described at booking. The shower is extremely narrow and had no curtain so water went all over the floor. The sink didn’t drain properly. The towels were hard and scratchy. I would not recommend the breakfast box. It was not ready when we ordered it for pickup.
