Elegant & Quiet Suite in Le Marais near Hôtel de Ville

Excellent position, close to everything, within 15mins walking distance to notre dame, small supermarket a few shops away, super quiet & good value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

We had arranged to drop our bags early but we couldn’t access the property, they sent someone within the hour once we notified them. The shower was also blocked which we fixed & let them know, they sent someone soon after to clean up & provide more towels.

The location is outstanding, very central, so walkable. For a longer stay, it was well equipped and spacious for Paris standards. The location is so quiet and because of its location in the building it was cool during the heat wave.

For the location, it would have been nice to have some supplies in the apartment for picnics, a light blanket, small cooler bag, a few plastic glasses. Not really a criticism, but a nice to have.

The first day we didn’t have enough hot water but the host quickly fixed this. I asked for late checkout which is of course not an entitlement but the host agreed. I came back to the apartment and have lunch and leave at the agreed time to find the cleaner in the apartment . They had moved my personal belongings and I had to rush to try and get everything together. The host said they contacted me but I didn’t see the message and besides they only contacted me to tell me the cleaner was there at a time even earlier than the posted check out time which I should be allowed. Therefore I have mixed feelings on this place because the communication was poor and I felt violated to have my things touched by the cleaner etc. that was the worst.
