Authentic studio - 2P - Hôtel de Ville

This is a great property. The location is fantastic and we loved it here. Clean and comfortable. I would give this location and studio ten stars except for a few issues you need to be aware of. Getting the key to the property was an absolute nightmare. The email links to the key box address and code came up “Unavailable”. We were at the property looking around and calling the 24/7 help line and every other number we could find, but no one answered until 10:50 PM. The man on the phone then gave us the address for the key box (in a store two streets away) and a 6 digit code. A French couple working nearby took pity on us and Antony ran to the store to get the key before it closed. But the box needed an 8 digit code. Our call to the help line had dropped and no one answered again before the store closed so we had to find a hotel. We had very spotty internet and our attempts at finding and booking a place were frustrating with dropped connections. Antony was finally able to book us a hotel on his phone and we got to bed at 1:30 am. I was in tears and my husband was convinced we had been scammed.The next day a very helpful woman gave us the correct 8 digit code so we finally got the key. We had to call her again to get the correct internet code. Once in, it was wonderful. Be aware there are two flights of charming but uneven, steep stairs. There is no fanThe door requires 3 turns of the key to open then push. We needed a new key box code to return the keys.

This studio is a whole vibe! Super cozy and gives off major Parisian feels, Location is on point, just a stroll away from the Musée Carnavalet for some Insta-worthy pics, The space hits different—perfect for chilling after a day of exploring,

The studio and location are amazing . The studio looks out over a pleasant little park. There are many restaurants, and bakeries nearby and the Metro is close. The place is clean, and the bed is comfortable even though it’s a pull down wall bed. Having a washer was wonderful! Be aware that you will need to climb two flights of charming, but steep, uneven stairs to get to the studio. There is also no fan if it’s hot. I am giving this a bad rating because getting the key was a nightmare! Make sure the email you get with the instructions actually has the information you need because the 24/7 help line is not reliable. We arrived in the evening (around 10 pm) The key box is in a store a couple of streets away but we didn’t get the address to the store or the code for the key box in our check-in email. When we finally got someone to answer the help line he gave us the actual address of the store where the key box was but the wrong key box code. We couldn’t get anyone to answer the help line before the store closed. We ended up having to book a hotel for the night which was very expensive ($750) and frustrating due to spotty internet and poor cell phone coverage Luckily a French couple working nearby took pity on us and let us use their hotspot and phone to finally find and book a hotel. By then I was in tears and my husband was sure we had been scammed. The next day we had a very helpful woman give us the right code and we were able to get in. But the internet code was also wrong. We then had to call for another key box code to leave the keys when we checked out. I would recommend this place just purely for its amazing location but make sure your email has ALL the addresses and correct codes you need.
