Gloriously located with a short walk to two beautiful, sandy beaches. The plain outside, part of a garage behind a house, belies the bright, cosy, fully equipped interior. Comfy bed, everything needed to hand. Perfect for the single traveller. Hosts were very helpful and accessible.

Bedroom spacious, but you do need to mind your head at the sides, and I'm small!

The apartment is located in a separate building in the backyard of a bigger house close to the beach and the little pier at the end of a road that leads to the golf course and the ferry to nearby island. Once entered the little house, it's very nice and comfortable. Heating works very well and you will find what is needed for a pleasant stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with lots of tipps around what to do and where to eat. There is only big bed and a smaller one for a kid. There is some view to the water front, but not real sea view. All neat and well maintained by the owner. Save parking. SO easy to go to the beaches around. Lovely landscape.

As many times, the light situation is not optimal. A reading light nearby the sofa would be helpful.

Anchor's Away is self-catering, a split-level apartment facing Magheragallan Bay, on the shoreline. The views from the property are stunning, with a delightful interplay of sea, sky and land. There are well-stocked grocery stores within walking distance, a whisky distillery and, a short drive away, the splendid Glenveigh National Park. The apartment itself is cosy, well-appointed, and the hosts were kind enough to provide us with milk, juice and a selection of biscuits - very welcome on arrival. Guide books are available in the apartment. It's a long drive to Magheragallen, but the rewards in terms of accommodation, hospitality, and the sheer beauty of the landscape amply compensated the effort.

The bedroom has sloping ceilings, which meant bending over to reach the second bed.
