John was very welcoming, as I was the sole guest he upgraded me to a larger room with a stove to keep things cosy. He very generously gave me free rein in the kitchen and gave me some pointers for food in town and nice walks in the area.

Great house, simple design just like stepping into your own home
Located in the middle of nowhere really but that what we expected booking it so no complaints about that

I did not eat the breakfast. I was out very early but the owner offers self catering and showed me even that there is bread, oats, milk, butter, coffee, tea all for free if I wanted. I got all mine own products and just quickly made a coffee for my travel mug and went off.
I don't see anything that would be necessary to change maybe beside that there was no table in the room where I could use my laptop other than on the bed itself.
