De zeer plezierige ontvangst van de gastvrouw Corine met de uitgebreide uitleg over het zeer ruime en smaakvolle ingerichte vakantiehuis en de faciliteiten, met tips over diverse restaurants. De locatie van de woning in een rustige straat zonder doorgaand verkeer. Parkeerplek voor de deur langs de straat. Op loopafstand van heel veel uitstekende restaurants. De mogelijkheid om vanuit Damme, langs een kanaal, over uitstekende fietspaden naar Brugge, Knokke-Heist en Sluis te fietsen. Beide slaapkamers zijn op de bovenste 2 verdiepingen met één fijne badkamer met toilet. Beneden is een apart toilet. Een klein plaatsje buiten aan de achterzijde om daar lekker je ontbijtje en koffie te nuttigen. Zelfs met de vijf warme dagen die wij hadden (boven de 30 graden) was het in huis en de slaapkamer te doen.
Voor ons samen viel helemaal niets tegen. We hebben hier 5 fijne dagen gehad. Maar wellicht is het voor iemand die zeer slecht ter been lastig om de wenteltrap naar boven te nemen....
