Perfect!

This was the perfect ‘home away from home’ for our three night stay in Bruges. Our host, Inge, was fabulous.When she met us with the key she gave us a thorough introduction to the property, information on things to do in town and even made a reservation for us for an excellent restaurant she recommended for dinner. The home was spacious, very comfortable, extremely clean and fully equipped. Parking on the property was appreciated.The neighbourhood is beautiful.

Host was helpfull although fear may have infected my wife with Belgium flu.

Location, parking and local facilities

The host came to visit and appeared to have something wrong with her voice. Possibly cold or Flu related as we have learned since Belgium flu is rife at the moment. We picked a property on our own away from people as my wife is a cancer patient in the UK. She fell ill on the way home and as a result has been in hospital since due to contacting the virus. Have been unable to contact the host since our return and we met nobody on our trip for health reasons. We ate in and only went to outside areas on two and saw nobody. Process of elimination is the only conclusion. Host has not returned my calls so still don’t know why she appeared ill ! Property was tidy but a little dated.

Great location for Bruges and the ferry

A very nice house, with distinctive internal features and a lovely garden. We stayed just one night en route to the ferry. Lovely and quiet and a great location for visiting Bruges, so it fitted the bill perfectly. And whilst we didn't meet our host, she was very attentive with sending key details and responding to emails.

The stairs to the upper bedroom room are very steep, so may not be suitable for all. There's a ground floor double bedroom and bathroom though.

Exceptional

Inge was a great host. She met us at the house to let us in and gave us some great ideas for dinner. The cottage has been nicely updated and had plenty of room for all 4 of us. We did not use the kitchen but it was well appointed had we wanted to eat in.

Not really a criticism but something to be aware of is that the "hallway" to the third bedroom is the master bedroom. Given our family situation that worked fine for us, though.

We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this property.

Excellent facilities including provision of kitchen and bathroom essentials - salt, pepper, oil, paper, cleaning products, etc. The location is great for central Bruges with the bus stop very close to the property. Supermarket very close too. Our host Inge was very friendly, spoke perfect English, and very helpful. I would thoroughly recommend Lien’s if you are planning a holiday to wonderful Bruges. The house is comfortable with a lovely garden and hosts that can’t do enough for you.

Great, charming and very comfortable cottage in the middle of a beautiful green garden . Also easy to park and well located to visit Bruges city (short bus ride) . Shops also very close and bus stop as well . Host was there when we arrived and explained everything very well . Were able to enjoy sun on the terrace in the lush garden .

Ein gemütliches, sauberes Haus in ruhiger , doch recht zentraler Lage.

Wir wurden herzlich von Inge empfangen. Es hat an wirklich nichts gefehlt. Die ruhige Lage war toll und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren fußläufig zu erreichen.

Un vrai cocon dans un quartier résidentiel

L'accueil de Inge, sa gentillesse et sa simplicité. Elle nous attendait, nous a présenté la maison, nous a fourni tous les renseignements utiles domestiques et touristiques. Elle est présente (à distance) mais discrète, jamais intrusive. On sait que l'on peut compter sur elle en cas de besoins. Elle nous a adressé par messagerie toutes les informations sur Bruges. La maison est très agréable, confortable, d'une propreté absolue, c'est un vrai cocon. On a du mal à partir le matin et on est heureux de se réfugier dedans le soir. Ce fut très appréciable lorsque le temps a été très froid et pluvieux. Le jardin doit être très agréable à la belle saison.la maison est dans un environnement paisible et résidentiel. Il y a un "Proxi" tout proche qui est très bien fourni, on y trouve de tout. Il faut simplement prévoir une demi heure pour arriver au centre de Bruges. Les parkings sont nombreux et pratiques. Nous n'avons pas essayé le bus N°3 dont l'arrêt est proche de la maison. Au total nous avons passé dans cette maison, une semaine qui a été absolument idéale. Merci à Inge, pour son accueil, sa gentillesse, sa simplicité et sa parfaite organisation.

Tolles Ferienhaus, super Ausstattung, Vermieterin sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Gute Lage für Ausflüge nach Brügge und Umgebung. Gerne wieder!

Schönes Haus in bester Lage, Brügge, Damme und die Orte an der Ostsee sind einen Besuch wert.

Exquisites Haus in ruhiger Lage in einem Villenviertel. Mit dem Rad oder Auto sind es ca. 3km bis zur Innenstadt von Brügge. 2 kleine Kaufhallen sind in ca. 2 min Fussweg zu erreichen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Haus verfügt über einen wunderschönen Garten und hat dort schöne, ruhige Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Haus verfügt über Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten (Eins im EG und eins im OG). Hinter dem Schlafzimmer im OG befindet sich ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit einem Bett und einem Babybett. Das Haus ist also auch für eine Familie mit Kindern oder für zwei befreundete Familien geeignet. Brügge ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert und mit dem Rad ist man nach 25km auf hervorragenden Radwegen an der Nordsee mit einem schönen Sandstrand. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und versteht deutsch.

Een leuke plek met veel privacy om ‘t huisje. Hele mooie zolder- & badkamer.

Het huisje is authentiek. Er is vanalles aan gedaan om de gast een zo goed mogelijk verblijf te geven! Prachtige foto’s aan de wand en een zeer compleet ingerichte keuken (behalve de kaasschaaf voor ons Hollanders, maar de dunschiller werkte ook goed 🤭) Leuk om hier te verblijven op een kwartiertje fietsen vanaf het mooie centrum van Brugge of bijv een half uur met de auto vanaf strand De Haan. De tuin om het huisje heen is heerlijk met genoeg plekjes voor zon of schaduw. Het bed op zolder is echt goed; dat maken we niet vaak mee. Kortom; een aanrader om hier te verblijven voor een weekend of (mid)weekje Brugge!!

Een aantal deuren/deurposten waren laag & mijn man is lang. Die combi werkt niet zo :-)

Es war ein super Aufenthalt

Die Lage war toll mit einem Supermarkt, Frittenbude, Bäcker und der Bushaltestelle nicht weiter als 100 m entfernt. Das Haus selber ist toll eingerichtet mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Vor allem die neue Klimaanlage für die beiden Schlafzimmer oben ist im Sommer Gold wert. Man hat alles gut gefunden und bei der Begrüßung hat Inge sehr darauf geachtet alles zu erklären wozu es Fragen geben könnte, sie hatte tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und war sehr nett, freundlich und einfach eine großartige Gastgeberin.

Erg mooie en schone accommodatie. De eigenaresse is erg aardig en behulpzaam. En Brugge Centrum is op 5km fietsen. Ideale plek!

De bovenverdieping kan warm zijn bij mooi weer, maar je kunt de ramen tegen elkaar open zetten wat voor verkoeling zorgt.

Ein außerordentlich attraktives Ferienhaus - nicht nur für Kurztrips, sondern auch zur Erholung

Das freistehende Ferienhaus hat uns außerordentlich gut gefallen. Der Empfang durch die Eigentümerin war herzlich und informativ. Die Lage in einem gehobenen Stadtteil ist sehr attraktiv. In der Nähe gibt es eine Bushaltestelle mit regelmäßigem Verkehr innerhalb von ca. 15 min direkt nach Brügge-City, das sich auch mit dem Fahrrad problemlos erreichen lässt. Radtouren in den nahen Wald, nach Damme oder bis an die Küste können direkt von der Unterkunft aus gestartet werden. Die Unterkunft selbst ist vollständig eingerichtet. Besonders der teilweise überdachte Freisitz und der große Garten sind für Mahlzeiten, Enspannung und Spiel hervorragend geeignet. Das war eine große Freude für uns. Wir konnten sogar Federball auf dem Rasen spielen. Eine Parkmöglichkeit auf dem Grundstück ist auch vorhanden. Der Garten ist liebevoll gepflegt und auch die Möblierung und die Betten sind eine Freude. Und zwei Supermärkte und eine leckere Frietjes-Bude sind in fußläufiger Entfernung. Also: Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft!

Die herrliche Ruhe wird manchmal (selten) durch unglaublich laute Motorroller unterbrochen - dafür kann die Vermieterin natürlich nichts. Es fällt nur auf, weil es ansonsten sehr ruhig in der Gegend ist. Cave: Die Treppe in das Obergeschoss ist recht steil - und könnte (nur, falls der zweite Schlafraum im Obergeschoss benutzt wird) besonders nachts für manche (ältere) Menschen oder kleine Kinder ein Problem sein, da im Obergeschoss keine Toilette vorhanden ist.

Unbedingt empfehlenswert!!

Wir sind supernett von der Hausherrin Inge empfangen worden. Das Haus ist sehr schön ausgestattet, es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Alles ist blitzblank sauber. Die Busanbindung ins Zentrum von Brügge ist top. Ein Supermarkt ist gleich ums Eck. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!
