Villa Urbain

Nice place in safe neighbourhood. Comfortably fit four of us (2 adults and 2 kids). Beds were comfortable and nice bathroom. Lovely bakery directly across the street and bonus of parking in a garage if you are happy to pay a bit extra. You can park on the street 6pm-9pm.

The mezzanine felt a bit precarious for our 10 year old who falls out of bed a lot and so we swapped with adults on the mezzanine. Lots of stairs to get to the top but we were prepared for this. Biggest issue were the roadworks and the fact you could not access the old part of the city via the nearest bridge across the river. I know this is not the owners fault but the implications of this need to be explicit as after one trip in and out of the old part on foot, we had to Uber it in and out with two children. Without the roadworks on the bridge and street we would have been there in 20 mins - so such a shame. We also were woken up by them very early on the Friday morning! Again, not the owners fault.

Well done out, liked the coffee, tea and basic plates and cutlery. Beds comfy, bathroom great.

Roadworks meant that access to town added 20 minutes walk into town. Would have been good to know about this prior to going. It was exhausting in the extreme heat walking the extra distance each day.

Top locatie, je wandelt zo naar de stad.

De kleine douchekop zit los en is niet in te stellen. Rioollucht/ vochtige lucht in het pand. In mei erg warm bij het bovenste bed.

Knappe kamers

Straat werken (met de drilboor) om 7 uur smorgens. Afwerking douche kapot.
