Loved the room. Possibly one of the best I’ve stayed in, on booking.com and I’ve been using the app for 10 years.

The bathroom. Luckily it was ok for us, but you don’t really have any privacy when using the toilet. A small wall over the cabinets that would connect to the rolling door would help. Also very expensive but most places are now. It’s about a 15/20 minute walk to the central square

Great, calm and safe neighbourhood. Really close to everything in Brugge. It was very clean and it smelled great. All commodities we could need were there. And we couldn’t go without a very kind and appreciative word to our wonderful hosts. They should manage an Hotel, since their service is better than one. It was a pleasure to meet Simon. Thank you for everything. You will also be engraved on our visit to Brugge. Hope we can comeback one day and meet again!

Location and cleanliness couldn't be better,

Great quality of furnishings, fantastic location with easy parking, friendly owners and good garden/outside space to chill. wine/beer/water in a chiller

Bathroom gave very little privacy - although we have been a couple for over 20 years, we don't want to be in the same room as each other when going to the toilet. We would have opened the door into the garden to 'escape' but it was windy and raining, Breakfast was plentiful - but far too big, meaning that much of it was left. It was pricey for what we actually ate - if we'd eaten it all we'd not have been able to walk the 15 minutes into Bruges! ham, cheese, croissants, bread, yoghurt, granola, fruit salad, orange juice - but no hot chocolate (which was specified as included). Just 2 coffee pods for our 2 night stay and only peppermint tea. Minimal hangers for clothing and limited space unless you want to put your clothes in the bathroom cupboard.

Cozy and affordable stay in a great location!

Affordable, cozy, clean, close to the center of town. Super responsive and proactive owners, helpful every step of the way. The attention to detail finishes it off - different pillow types & sizes, soft and fresh smelling towels and sheets, romantic lights, A-brand toiletries.

No big dislikes, only a few constructive remarks. After you shower the room gets quite hot and humid - some air ventilation would be great. Noise from the other room(s) comes easy through the walls.

Lovey room, great location, quirky facilities design.

Greeted by the friendly host we were shown to a good size, comfortable room. We were shown how to use the key less locking system for the door which was great as no risk if losing keys. The room was clean, fresh and a good size. The complimentary tea and coffee were a lovely touch. The rooms were situated in an excellent location just a short walk from the main tourist areas of Brugge.

The toilet, shower design. The toilet was in the room with just a sliding door that had some frosted but some clear glass panels. The room design meant the door did not go to end leaving a gap of about 30cm. This meant it did not feel very private. The same door also slid across for the shower which meant that when using the toilet straight after showering water dripped on to the toilet floor.

A Wonderful Stay in Beautiful Bruges

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Poutrelle Guestrooms. The apartment was beautifully designed with so much love for detail — everything felt carefully thought out and of high quality. From the luxurious towels to the premium hygiene products, it truly felt like a home away from home. Simon and Jade are outstanding hosts who clearly care deeply about their guests’ experience. A special highlight was the E-bikes, which came with a perfectly planned route by Simon — such a great way to explore the charm of Bruges to the north sea. We can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you for such a special experience!

Very comfortable accommodation in a great location.

Quiet location with parking just 15-20 minutes walk from the centre. Spacious room with very comfortable super king bed. We slept well! Friendly, helpful host and nice touches like crockery if you decide on having takeaway food. Electric bike hire from the doorstep with route suggestions provided: we loved our trip to the seaside through beautiful countryside!

A comfortable, well-located stay with modern amenities and easy access to the historic center.

We had a great stay! The room was clean, spacious, and modern, with a lovely view of the garden. Having a parking spot right in front of the door was super convenient, especially if you’re visiting Bruges by car. The location is ideal ,just outside one of the old city gates, and within walking distance of the historic center. It took us about 20 minutes on foot to reach the Belfort. A perfect base for exploring the city!

Should I ever return to Bruges - I'll DEFINITELY choose this accommodation - FAULTLESS!!

We didn't have breakfast at the accommodation - but I did see a tray outside another resident's door that looked as if it had been prepared lovingly - and excellently - like everything else in this accommodation.

I can not fault this accommodation at all - nor it's host, Simon. I didn't get to meet his 'other half'. A really well designed and aesthetically pleasing apartment with everything we needed in a lovely street with a short walk into the centre of the city. Great check in. Comfy beds. Gorgeous walk in shower. Lovely garden. Excellent mini bar for midnight snacks or a decent bottle of wine! Ambient lighting. Quiet and very reasonably priced for the level of accommodation provided. Weekend in Brugge.

It was in a good neighbourhood just on the outskirts of the city with an easy walk to all of the sights. The room was clean, comfortable, and of a high standard. The facilities were very good, and Simon was welcoming when my husband met him on our arrival . We would not hesitate to stay again on our next visit to Brugge. Thank you for a great stay. 😀

There was a coffee maker in the room. However, we would have liked to have a kettle for hot drinks as we are not coffee drinkers ordinarily.

Aussie and Malaysian in Bruges, Belgium

Accommodation location was in a quiet street and only about 1km from the old city of Bruges, so for those that have no issues walking a little distance (on flat land), then this accommodation location is perfect! The accommodation itself was new, quality but minimal size with a super comfortable bed, supplied coffee, tea and an array of wine and beer from the mini bar. We had access to the back yard area, which was really nice and my wife and I sat outside on a nice cool day and had some beer, wine and cheese. There was no noise from any other guests or surrounding houses and the host/hostess were very efficient with their communication, via the app and follow up. They respected our privacy the entire time and we really enjoyed our stay. Overall, considering the location, accommodation set up and what was supplied, we thought this was great value for money.

I cannot find any fault with our stay here, it was fantastic. Thank you to our host and hostess, we really enjoyed our time in Bruges and this had a lot to do with our quality accommodation.

Must-go in Bruges

The location is perfect: there is a bus station (busses coming from the train station) around the corner, and the city centre is a 15min walk away. The room itself was very nice; nicely decorated, small fridge with drinks available, coffee machine, snacks, a very good bed, comfortable shower (enough available towels), and access to the (shared) garden. We received an entrance code for the front door and room door a day before, and the hosts were available when needed.

The glass toilet door had some see-through covers for privacy, but the shower door didn't. It's not that big of a deal, but it's just good to keep this in mind. The curtains that were foreseen were not blinding, so the daylight came through. There is no air conditioning; the room itself was not that hot (during 25-30 degrees days), but some lower temperature would have been nice for sleeping.

Where do I start? I couldn't really fault the Poutrelle Guestrooms, the accommodation was perfect! The bed was very large and extremely comfortable! The shower was powerful and lovely walk in shower. The room itself was very spacious. There was a mini fridge in the room, which was very great for keeping drinks cool and store some food. The room lead out to the garden which was beautifully done and had communal furniture to sit out on. The accommodation was only a 15-20mins walk into the centre and literally everything was within walking distance! I will 100% be staying here again in the future!

The only thing I felt the room was missing, was air conditioning to keep the room cool.

Highly Recommend Staying here while in Bruges

Great location in Bruges, ten minute walk from the centre of Bruges - attractions, restaurants etc, but guesthouse itself is situated in a nice quiet residential area. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable, quiet also. Everything you need for your stay - comfy bed, good shower, hairdryer, smart TV. Snacks and drinks in the room for a reasonable fee. The owners were friendly and helpful and give guests complete privacy unless there's anything you need and then they are extremely responsive. Highly recommend a stay here.

The bathroom door is glass, personally I would prefer more privacy on a toilet door but it wouldn't stop me staying again as everything else was exceptional.

Fantastic stay

This excellent apartment in a quiet street is ideally placed for a visit to the city of Bruges. Although we didn't meet Simon personally he was very courteous and extremely helpful. Entry is gained by door code and is very simple to operate. We will be visiting Bruges again and will not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Simon and Jade for a truly memorable stay.

A wonderful , comfortable room in a quiet neighbourhood

Wonderful room with access to the yard quite close to the city center in a quiet neighbourhood. The room was warm , beds were comfortable , there was a small fridge and plus there was coffee and tea free of charge Simon and Jade are very nice and helpful and the communication with them was easy and quick. We loved it!

The half transparent door of the bathroom inside the room does not offer a lot of privacy but that was not a problem for us
