Avoid this property

AVOID THIS PROPERTY. Arrived and property unclean with used dirty bedding, facilities and bathroom from previous guests. There is no 24 hour front desk (just a key safe) - had to involve booking com because it was not cleaned. They eventually sent a cleaner but he spent 20mins and water on the floor and very dusty in places. Sent photos to the property company. Very cold property - radiator emits low level heating and can’t shut curtains without it being a fire hazard as the blue colour has melted on the radiator. We only stayed one night out of three because of the fire and safety hazard, it being very cold and not being able to shut the curtains when radiator on. Only thin duvet, no blankets. The property agreed with booking com to refund the two nights we didn’t stay. I have messaged frequently and they have not responded. I have more photos but can only upload a few on here - show how the property was when we arrived and the fire hazard radiator. Happy to provide all photos to booking com for investigation.

Perfecte locatie in heerlijke coole studio

De locatie van deze studio is echt fantastisch. Je zit net buiten het centrum en Vieux-Lyon, waardoor het buiten lekker rustig is. Alles ligt op loopafstand, binnen 7 minuten zit je in de stad en in Vieux-Lyon. Ook zitten er schattige eettentjes naast het gebouw en kun je aan de kade gaan zitten om je boek te lezen of van een broodje te genieten. De studio zelf erg prettig, perfect voor 1 persoon. Buiten was het af en toe 30 graden, en in de studio bleef het heerlijk cool, dit was echt fantastisch! Ik denk dat je in de winter wel een warme trui en sokken mee moet nemen aangezien de verwarming alleen aan mag tegen extra betaling. Maar voor de zomer is het perfect! Sommige mensen vinden het niet fijn dat je tegen een muur aankijkt als je het raam uitkijkt. Ik vond dit juist heel fijn omdat het heel veel privacy gaf. Was oprecht heel blij met de locatie, zou het aanraden en zou hier zelf ook weer naar terug gaan.

Je mag inchecken vanaf 16u. Dat is op zich prima, ik kwam uiteindelijk toch niet eerder aan. Als je eerder wil inchecken moet je daar €20,- extra voor betalen. Wellicht heeft dit te maken met de tijden voor het schoonmaken oid. Maar het komt niet super galant over. Wat mij wel een beetje tegen stond was dat het keukengerei, denk aan bestek, borden en pannen niet allemaal schoon waren en hier soms nog etensresten van vorige bezoekers op zaten. Daar zit je niet op te wachten als je ergens incheckt. Ook waren er geen thee- en vaatdoek, waardoor het afdrogen en schoonhouden van de keuken met een handdoek moest gebeuren? Daarnaast is het goed om te weten dat je voordeur direct aan het trappenhuis vastzit. Je kan dus iedereen op en neer horen lopen. Een van mijn eerste avonden hadden er buren een ruzie en was er iemand flink met spullen aan het schuiven. In mijn oren klonk het een tikkeltje agressief waardoor ik me wel een beetje bang heb gevoeld. Na een paar dagen was ik gewend aan de geluiden en de voorbij sloffende buren. Maar het is wel goed om te weten wat je kan verwachten mocht je interesse hebben in deze studio. Al met al zou ik de studio aanraden, de locatie is optimaal en je voelt je over het algemeen erg op je gemak in deze studio.

Bon emplacement pour découvrir Lyon et ses principaux sites touristiques.

Nous avons apprécié l’emplacement. Le confort de la literie, le chauffage et la douche à bonne température.

Pas de lavabo juste un lave mains. Difficile de profiter de la cuisine car la pièce est petite. Accès difficile avec la boîte à clefs dure à ouvrir et serrure de la porte difficile.

C’était correct mais limite quand on souhaite le propre avant tout…

L’emplacement…15 min du vieux Lyon et donc des escaliers vers Fourvière . Mais pas très fréquenté le soir. Wifi fonctionnait bien : indispensable pour le boulot. Le côté indépendant… studio.

La vaisselle sale…, le meuble commode cuisine cassé , la literie tachée. Et le fait qu’on entende absolument tout de ce qui se passe de l’autre côté de la porte..
