Nice place, but has issues. Could be great with a little attention/investment. .

Excellent location in 2nd arr. Walkable to most areas of Lyon and only about 100m to metro for connections. Nice size for 1 or 2 people (although pics make it look bigger than it actually is) Wood and stone design gives cabin-like feel in the middle of the city Equipped with basic day-to-day needs (multiple grocery stores within a block to get additional things) Well-priced for location/size

Uncomfortable furniture (sofa feels like sitting directly on wooden boards/bed is just foam mattress on floor) Cleanliness issues upstairs (floor not clean and full of hair/dust) Steep staircase could be problematic Only heater is downstairs so upstairs stays cold and feels drafty (no a/c for summer and only one window) Overall, I wasn't unhappy with the place and could recommend it, although with reservations. If you're under around 178cm/5'10" (lower roof upstairs and in shower), have no problem with steep staircase, don't mind vacuuming (there's one downstairs), and just need a basic place in central Lyon at a decent price, you'll probably be happy here.

The location is about the only thing I can say positively about the property. Although genuinely. Don’t let the pictures deceive you, this place is far smaller than it looks.

I feel the pictures of this property are extremely deceiving. The property is hidden and very aptly behind a shed door. Fair play to the owners for being so creative with the space but it as far from ideal. As I entered I noticed a strong damp smell which very left during the week. The floor was all wet from the fridge leaking which I reported several times and would receive a message that someone would come but they didn’t. The bed is basically a mattress on the floor and very thin the stairs turn out to be extremely steep more like ladders. I ended up booking some nights in a seperate hotel I was so disappointed here.

The location is very good, it's close to the train station, in the same street there are many shops, pastries, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, pharmacies, & a mobile store. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly with a high speed. Also I liked that they provided an air freshener in the apartment.

The room cleanliness was terrible, the bed sheets and pillows were not cleaned, which was very uncomfortable. The hot water lasted only 4-5 minutes, turning cold before I could finish my shower. The bathroom was also extremely small and cramped. I asked the host to provide me with a hair dryer, and an Iron but didn’t respond.

Lovely 2 night stay

Great location, very clean and everything we needed.

The only minor down side was the upstairs was a little cramped. My husband is 6' 4" so it was a little uncomfortable for him but besides that it was a great spot

We liked the location of the property. It is in the center of the city. Very close to the Metro station and main train station.

The building's garbage room has been converted into a B&B room. In front of the room, you can see the building's garbage trash bins. There are no windows in the property, and there is no cross-ventilation. This property is suitable for individuals of shorter stature; the world's smallest washbasin can be found here. The bed is kept on the floor, next to the toilet and bathroom. There is no proper clothes stand and storage facility. The bathroom has a height of 5.8 feet, allowing for standing during a bath, but there is limited space to turn around and wash your body. To sleep, you have to climb a vertical ladder to the first floor, which is very steep. There are too many mosquitoes if we open the main door (due to the building's garbage storage in front of the property). There is also a wooden door to completely close off the property without any natural light source. There is a significant amount of noise in front of the property due to garbage collection in the early morning. Booking.com never witnessed/verified the property before offering to customers.

Waste of money, health, sleep and energy. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE.

TL;DR: I thought the Italian guest who commented on this property might have exaggerated but oh NO. This place is DISGUSTING. Pubic and oher hair on the foors and stairs. Actual door is not lockable* and the place is RIGHT next to the buildings trash cans and you CAN SMELL IT. First of all, the pictures looks way way nicer than it was. It is a LIE and it is deceiving to not show the outside. Because the fact that it is next to the trash cans, will affect your stay because you will smell them. Doors and windows point right out to the garbage. It is very stuffy inside because there is absolutely no draft coming in. Luckily, they have a stront bathroom vent, I had to leave it on all day so it doesnt stink up in there like the first day when I arrived. I found short curly h(probably) pubic hair, hairs on the steps , on the floors next to the bed, and dust in the corners AND I FOUND A PIGEON FEATHER next to the bed and no it was not a tiny down feather type that could have been from the stuffing of the blanket (blanket filling was plastic anyway) it was a small live-bird FEATHER. After finding it all too dirty and the sheets not smellinhg fresh I contacted the property and THEY OFFERED to clean the next day and asked me to leave the keys in the key box. NO ONE EVER CAME TO CLEAN the place. And I wrote the property again and they said they would investigate, never did. I think it was the person who rents out who was writing with my not a property manager. Person was just full of trash as well. It looks really nice on the pictures and to be fair if I had the skills to build sth like that I´d be thrilled but thats not a place to pay 100€ per night for. It was dirty! Oh and I am not a tall person and was fine in the loft. But others might have a problem with the height.

EVERYTHING WAS BAD. From cleanliness to odor from the outside GARBAGE CANS to the bad bad service and the lies!!

Bien pour le temps que nous avons passé dans le logement

La localisation du logement, plein centre Lyon c'était parfait. L'immeuble était calme, les communs propres, les habitants sympas. L'accès au logement avec toutes les instructions très bien détaillées. L'ambiance, la déco du logement était sympa.

La literie, le matelas n'était vraiment pas qualitatif. Propreté à revoir, surtout la paroi accordéon de la douche qui est toute noircie de moisissures sur le bas. La poignée de la porte d'entrée mérite d'être contrôlée avant qu'elle ne reste dans les mains de quelqu'un. Un bon coup d'aspirateur à passer sur les murs parement pierre car ils sont pleins de fils de poussière (peut être toile d'araignée).

Nada, este lugar no debería ser habitable es completamente insalubre, esta bien que sea pequeño pero no cuenta con ninguna ventana, de hecho es una bodega que acoplaron y se encuentra lado de los botes de basura por lo que hay muy mal olor, moscas y mosquitos además de cucarachas! El calor es insoportable y solamente tiene un ventilador pequeño que no ayuda.

Tiny House

L'emplacement du logement est parfait. Au cœur de la ville. L'accès au logement est très bien expliqué. L'endroit est très calme. C'est petit, mais très bien conçu.

La literie est vraiment à revoir. Il est clair que nous ne louons pas pour rester toute la journée au logement. Mais pour y dormir, et après des journées fatigantes, nous aspirons à passer une bonne nuit. Le matelas est vraiment trop fin.

Absolument riz , nous avons fuit ce logement dès notre arrivé. Nous avons dû louer un autr logement car c’était inhabitable

Le logement est situé au fond d’une cours juste derrière l’ensemble des poubelles de l’immeuble avec l’odeur qui va avec, nous ne pouvions pas ouvrir le volet car sinon nous avions vu sur celles-ci . Tres humide et très petit, le lit est à même le sol sur un sommier cassé, la « salle d’eau » est un espace d’1m2 comportant sur cet Infime espace toilette douche et lave main, tout cela a 5cm du lit. Bonjour l’intimité !

L’hygiène est très limite . Je n’ai pas beaucoup apprecié que le nettoyage était fait à la légère. Tout le reste dés détails qui mont pas plus; j’étais au courant du début. Donc je ne peux pas critiquer parceque je les ai lu avant la réservation.

Emplacement idéal pour découvrir Lyon en arrivant par le train. Studio très fonctionnel et agréable pour deux personnes. Très calme la nuit.

Le ménage n’avait clairement pas été fait sérieusement à notre arrivée. Traces, cheveux… vu la surface réduite du logement, ce n’est pas acceptable. La machine à café Nespresso était aussi hors service.

Parfait pour séjour courte durée

Établissement petit tout mignon super facile d’accès et bien situé entre la Gare de Lyon Perrache et aux accès métro. Bien qu’il se situe dans une rue commerçante, lieu très calme.

Un petit bémols sur la propreté et présence de bruit « non identifié » si on ne ferme pas la porte de la salle de bain la nuit.

Assolutamente angusto, altezza camera da letto di 1.40-1.80m, con affaccio su pattumiere.

Abbastanza centrale.

È un tugurio, credo sia veramente fuori dal mondo affittare una soluzione abitativa del genere, è una soluzione abitativa che sarebbe illegale in Italia e sono assolutamente sicuro che sia illegale anche in Francia. La camera da letto, se camera da letto vogliamo chiamarla, è alta al massimo 1 metro e 80, nel punto più basso circa 1 metro e 40. Bisognava camminare come topi. Il bagno era non più di 2 m2, più probabilmente 1.5 m2, il lavandino ero dei più piccoli visti in vita mia. Il materasso, di scarsa qualità, era posizionato direttamente sul pavimento. La finestra/portone, unico punto luce del tugurio, dava direttamente sui secchi della spazzatura. La seconda (e fortunatamente ultima) notte i condomini buttavano l’umido, abbiamo chiuso l’unico punto luce e acceso un piccolissimo ventilatore. Ah, ambiente ovviamente non condizionato. Insomma, un vero e proprio incubo. Fuori dal mondo.
