Comfortable and neat!

We had a wonderful stay at Chez Roya in Belgium! The space was impeccably neat, and we could immediately tell that a lot of care went into the décor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with charming touches that made it feel like home. The hostess was absolutely lovely – friendly and attentive. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The location was also perfect – quiet yet central, with easy access to local attractions. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend Chez Roya to anyone looking for a cozy, well-kept spot in Belgium.

Be honest and trustworthy

The property owners are not transparent and honest. They wrote that the apartment is air-conditioned, but in fact it contains air-pumps that operate with water. When I discussed it with them, they said that in Belgium, all apartments do not have air conditioning, even though I was coming from Bruges and the apartment was air-conditioned. I left at the same time and booked another apartment in Brussels, which also had air conditioning, as we know it. The money was not refunded because it was deducted in advance upon booking. The stairs are very tiring and almost vertical, and the apartment is located on the top floor, making it difficult to go up and down with luggage, especially since our bags are heavy. The dining table is located under the sloping ceiling, and the wall touches my head, as well as the room table and the lounge chair. The bathroom has a bad smell. The security system in the apartment is non-existent. The door lock is normal, and the apartment key is very traditional. You can look inside the apartment when you remove the key. The parking spaces are located on the side of the road, and they are mostly for residents of the houses in the area. In short, I consider this fraud and it contradicts the information written about the apartment and the photos. It was a bad experience, and I ask Booking to impose restrictions on such properties and request detailed reports.

My only suggestion would be to put at least a small sign on the door saying that "Chez Roya" is here because when I arrived, it seemed like a usual private home to me, and I was not sure I was in the right place. But I could call by phone, and the host opened immediately.

Alles in orde, korte, vriendelijke, maar duidelijke uitleg. Heel net appartement, alles aanwezig. Bier en water aangeboden door het huis.
