Shiinamachi House

For its price and what you can find in Tokyo this was actually a rather comfortable space, not cramped with even storage space. You can cook on it, which is a rather valuable commodity in the city and it has that traditional Tokyo apartment vibe to it.

The ward demands you to check in scanning a QR code in some odd places, and that's not really clear for the start so chacnes are you reach the place just to find the surprise that you have to have a 30 minute trek just so a lady in a bar scans a QR and give you the keycode to your door.

Small but great place with all the needed facilities. Close to the Station and a nice neighborhood.

Too many autogenerated messages about our stay and Tokyo in general. The important stuff was drowning in other messages.

The location was absolutely amazing. Just one stop away from Yamanote line. Also, in these area of Ikebukuro, there is a lot of things to do and we got to explore it as well. This house was also in a very calm and quiet neighborhood that we were happy to walk along, but it had convenience, stores, supermarkets, and everything we needed nearby even the water vending machine. The apartment itself is extremely small, but if you are organize, it is 100% doable. It had a lot of storage space for our luggage. Very small table are very small hallway and a decent sized bathroom.the shower was actually pretty good.the main bed was comfortable but floor bed for one person was not as much but we’d ended up being OK by putting some blankets and stuff on top.it also has good lighting a window that you can open to the outdoors and it has air in the air-conditioning for both heat and cold. Dot dot The stuff was absolutely amazing and helped us from the beginning to the end making suggestions for our trip. Warning is about important stuff and always being super fast and responsive whenever we had any question. Also the fact that it’s self check-in is pretty good. Overall amazing value for money in a great location

The only problem for us was that the corridor the hall to the actual bedroom smelled pretty bad, but if you close the door to the bedroom, we wouldn’t smell it. Also, it has a very small kitchen. It is probably doable to cook there, but I would not recommend his. There is very little space but he has a decent size fridge, which was good and also a microwave..

Good location and close to the train station. Clean and quick response from host.

Uncomfortable bed, had to sleep on the edge because it was the only decent part of the mattress that wasn't worn out. Cold, heater isn't the greatest and windows let in a lot of cold air, I was traveling in early December. Small unit, but expected in Japan
