A sweet boutique stay, slightly away from the main streets.

We had a great time at Grandfather. Special mentions include a sweet tuxedo cat that just hangs out with all the guests in their balcony areas. Rooms were clean, large and the staff was very friendly. Two wheelers available on rent at the property itself.

Beautiful stay in a beautiful location.

Location is a little off the beaten track, which made for restful nights and glorious jungle scenery to wake to. The room was surprisingly big, the breakfast area a delightful space to dine in and the staff extremely helpful and friendly.

Towels could have been changed more frequently, but perhaps that was on request. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Great bungalows in a lovely setting. Kindest staff An, Ai and We who were so friendly and helpful provided a fantastic cooked breakfast each day. Can’t wait to return next year.

Un endroit de rêve pour être au calme au milieu de la nature. Les bungalows sont tops, grande chambre et grande salle de bain. Literie confortable. La piscine est magnifique. Le personnel est très accueillant et très aimable. Très bon petit déjeuner. Un scooter sera essentiel pour se balader et l’hôtel n’est pas en bord de mer. Location de scooter possible sur place.

Personalen super. Lägenheten/huset mycket bra. Använde scooter under hela vistelsen, hade varit jobbigt utan.

Really pleasant stay

Cet établissement est tenu par trois sœurs qui sont d’une très grande gentillesse. L’établissement est au calme, proche des restaurants ( en taxi ou motorbike). Possibilité de louer des motorbike directement sur place. Très bon petit déjeuner que l’on prend avec la nature en toile de fond.

Gemütliche kleine Anlage. Sehr nettes Personal. Frühstück lecker. Sehr ruhig. Auch ohne Klima (gibt es) kann man es super aushalten. Der Ventilator ist toll. Großer Kühlschrank im Zimmer der super befüllt ist. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Die Betten wurden bereits mehrfach erwähnt sind schon echt hart. Wir haben 80 Euro die Nacht bezahlt, das finde ich im Verhältnis zu anderen Unterkünften zu teuer. Wir fanden es nicht schlimm aber empfindliche Menschen könnten sich an der Sauberkeit des Badezimmers stören. Wir würden trotzdem wieder kommen.

Wer mit kleinem Kind nach Khao Lak fährt, kann dort gut und ruhig Urlaub machen. Der beste Strand für Familien mit Kind

Sehr schöne Anlage, sehr grün, sehr nettes Personal, sehr kinderfreundliches Personal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Damen von der Rezeption haben sich sehr gut gekümmert. Wenn kein Taxi zur Verfügung stand, sind sie selbst gefahren. Grab funktioniert dort oben nicht. Wir waren mit unserem vierjährigen Sohn dort. Es ist kein wirkliches Kinder Resort aber gleich neben dem Resort gibt es ein Restaurant Happy Snapper, dort gibt es einen Spielplatz. So konnten wir jeden Abend ganz entspannt Abendessen. Der Pool hat auch einen 90 cm tiefen Kinderbereich.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist etwas zu hoch. Die Anlage ist etwas abseits gelegen. Dadurch benötigt man auf jeden Fall einen Roller oder man nimmt das kostenlose Fahrrad. Im drei Bettzimmer ist das Doppelbett unterm Dach, dort ist es sehr warm. Die Klimaanlagen im Raum sind recht laut.

Entspannter, ruhiger Aufenthalt.

Schöne, ruhige Lage; der Pool mit den Liegeplätzen ist sehr entspannend. Die Bungalows sind sehr schön, groß und das Bad ist ebenfalls sehr geräumig. Man kann Roller mieten und die Wäsche machen lassen. Personal war sehr freundlich und alles hat gut geklappt.

Eine kleine Bar für tagsüber würde durchaus gut passen.

Prima hotel buiten het centrum

Prima hotel buiten het centrum. We hadden de driepersoonskamer. Een bed beneden en twee boven. Lekker ruim hoewel het wel een eng trappetje was naar boven/beneden. Het hotel is zeer rustig gelegen. Lekker zwembad met een goed formaat en een prima ontbijt. Personeel is heel vriendelijk, we werden uitstekend geholpen bij een probleem met de hotelfiets (niet de fout van het hotel). Omdat het buiten het centrum is moet je wel een scooter huren, taxi nemen of van de hotelfietsengebruik maken om bvb te eten. Er is een restaurant dichtbij maar als je naar het strand op andere restaurants wilt is eigen vervoer aan te raden. De geboekte excursie via het hotel naar de Surin Eilanden is een aanrader.

Superbe endroit proche de tout mais au calme

Accueil très agréable bungalow avec belle terrasse face à la piscine bien grand avec jolie déco espaces verts superbes bien entretenus petit déjeuner parfait à la carte plus buffet ... on reviendra :-)

Rien ... Aah oui on aimerait en plus du rideau opaque un rideau transparent pour plus de privacité quand on est dans la chambre ... c'est une suggestion rien de grave :-)

Sehr schöner und ruhiger Aufenthalt zum Entschleunigen

Das zweistöckige Zimmer war ganz besonders toll, sehr gemütlich. Auch die Lage ist super, man ist schnell an vielen Restaurants, am Strand oder am Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Man kann sich sehr günstig vom Hotel einen Roller mieten.

Ce sera toujours notre point de chute à Khao Lak

Le cadre incroyable ! On se sent si loin du surtourisme. Pour moi le vrai luxe est ici, pas dans les resort 5 étoiles bondés et trop artificialisés. La jungle commence juste derrière, seul un champ d’hévéa en culture nous en sépare. L’endroit est à taille humaine, et bien que l’hôtel ait été plein nous avions souvent la piscine très agréable pour nous tout seul . La famille qui tient le resort est adorable et au petit soin. Notre coup de cœur du voyage ! Sans oublier le restaurant à côté, autre coup de cœur autant niveau culinaire, qu’accueil et ambiance.

Le débit de la douche un peu léger mais qui reste suffisant malgré tout.

Petit déjeuner frais à volonté, avec beaucoup de choix. Piscine très agréable. Emplacement calme et près de la nature. Personnel très gentil ! Possibilité de louer un scooter directement à l’hôtel, ce qui est très arrangeant :) Chambre spacieuse.

Je suis un peu pointilleuse sur la propreté, donc je dirais que le ménage n'était pas fait à fond à notre arrivée, mais ce n'était pas trop dérangeant. Par exemple, plusieurs endroits avec de la poussière, et quelques cheveux dans la douche... mais un coup d'eau et c'est parti

Kameralny ośrodek, kilka domków położonych w ogrodzie z basenem. Czyściutko i miło ;) Spokojna uliczka, która odchodzi z centrum miasteczka w którym jest co robić ;) Kawałek do plaży, ale są skuterki do wypożyczenia na miejscu

Konieczność podjechania do plaży i centrum, ale za to mamy ciszę i spokój ;)
