It was spacious and extremely clean. The location was very convenient and perfect for excursions to the Normandy beaches.

It was a little complicated getting inside, especially as a lot relied on a video and we had limited sporadic reception. A simple map would probably have been easier.

Excellent apartment in good location but inadequate instructions.

Excellent property once we got in. Almost brand new with good facilities. View over Caen with large balcony on two sides and space to eat out on the balcony. Around the corner is a bakery coffee shop for breakfast. Short walk into the centre of Caen for restaurants and bars.

Had trouble getting in and using the parking garage. 1) The lock box is not near the doorway but 50 metres to the left attached to a drainpipe. This may be the only place to have a lockbox but please say so. 2) The car parking is given as 11 Avenue Victor Hugo, but I never found number 11. It's actually a public multi-storey car park with a very large P outside which would make better instructions. 3) The key fob has a blue plastic thing that is used to enter and exit the car park. It didn't work the first day and we had to pay E15 for the first night. The instructions come with a YouTube video, but they show using a purple card which we didn't have. We tried pressing the help button on the car park machine but just got a garbled recording which we didn't understand. We wasted a lot of time trying to find the car park, then trying to get in without paying. Rather spoilt what should have been a restful stay. Please take these comments constructively and update your instructions. Remember your visitors are strangers to Caen, and in our case not native French speakers.

Great apartment

The apartment was in a great location, just a short walk to the town. It is light and airy with a full balcony accessed from all of the rooms. Everything you would need for a short stay is provided. It was easy to access the apartment as the owners sent a video and instructions to access the key box. A big bonus for us was the private parking space allocated in the covered car park. We had a very comfortable stay and would recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Caen

Great family break

The apartment is extremely well equipped and was immaculately clean when we arrived. Thanks to the very helpful video guides finding the keys and parking was really easy. The car park spaces were on the small side but we managed ok in a 4x4. The area was a great base for exploring the town and the wider area with good access to lots of D-Day beaches and museums. The town itself is a short walk away (have a look at the Caen City Pass to access attractions as it is much cheaper) and there are lots of bars and restaurants in the immediate area. We had a lovely meal at the rooftop restaurant just across from the apartments and the bakery downstairs has delicious bread and pastries. Thank you for a wonderful stay we will be back!

A home away from home.

Very new building. The apartment was very well equipped. Good location (walking distance to Sunday market). Near supermerket (Lidl). Parking space included.

The internet and wifi is provided (connection via LAN possible) but wifi password (that was given) was incorrect. Owner was very helpful but resetting the router (as suggested) did not help. This problem should be easily fixable though, so future guests shouldn’t have to worry. Book! It’s a great place regardless.

Very nice family stay, comfortable, clean, very friendly owner

The whole flat was spacious, clean, generously equipped with any amenities for a family vacation (even two differently sized baby chairs), also some games. It was absolutely calm (our kids not always though ;)) the whole time. Modern and new apartment with excellent air ventilation. We enjoyed the undergound parking especially. The place was safe and close to the city (around 5 minutes walk to the marina area). You could find a plenty of restaurants and take-aways around the corner. Caen surprised us especially as a cosy and modern city. Within minutes we could hit the highway to go to anywhere in the Normandie. The owner is superfriendly and reacted superfast to the few issues that we had. So theres nothing more to say except highly recommended.

Very nice modern apartment close to the city centre. Very clean and tidy and well equipped. It was perfect for our short stay in Caen. Also was handy to have the use of gym and parking. Great communication with Jean, the host. Highly recommended.

L'utilisation de vidéos à chaque étape de notre arrivée facilite grandement l'accès au parking puis à l'appartement. Celui ci est neuf , lumineux et bien agencé. L'accès à une salle de sport bien équipée est un vrai plus que nous ne trouvons habituellement que dans des hôtels.

La literie en général pourrait être améliorée pour être en phase avec la qualité des prestations. Un lit de 160 ou 180 serait le bienvenu .

Bello, ma con ampi margini di miglioramento

L'appartamento è ben strutturato ed è esattamente come apparare nelle immagini. Ha una bellissima vista ed è pieno di luce naturale per le ampie finestre. E' tutto nuovo e gli arredi sono comodi, anche il letto ed i cuscini sono molto confortevoli. Non è in centro, si deve fare una piccola passeggiata per stare nel pieno centro, ma sono veramente 5 minuti a piedi. Sotto l'appartamento ci sono piccoli locali ed un panificio ottimo, che però non è sempre aperto. La temperatura dell'alloggio non era confortevole all'arrivo, ma poi aggiustata correttamente la temperatura e dopo aver parlato con i gestori, l'appartamento è diventato caldissimo.

Ci sono diverse cose che vanno migliorate: prima di tutto l'appartamento è dotato di ogni elettrodomestico, ma mancano i detersivi per usarli. Quindi per soggiorni brevi si devono comprare e questa è una cosa non conveniente. La pulizia della casa non è stata ottimale, non credo fosse stato lavato per terra, ma solo scopato o aspirato. Alla fine del soggiorno ci hanno chiesto di pulire la casa, nonostante fosse un costo già incluso nel pagamento. Altra questione estremamente scomoda è legata alla porta di ingresso: si devono necessariamente dare le mandate, è come una normale porta che per essere chiusa, sia dall'interno che dall'esterno, ha necessita di avere le mandate. Non credo ci ritornerei

Super appartement, juste...

Appartement très bien équipé et fonctionnel. Très bon standing, situé proche du centre ville et de toutes commodités. Nous avons adoré la vue grâce aux baies vitrées. Excellent.

Pas simple de trouver l'emplacement du parking, sans compter la boîte à clef. Heureusement que les propriétaires ont pensé à faire des vidéos pour faciliter les accès. Nous regrettons aussi l'absence de réponse des propriétaires. En effet, le départ 10h00 nous a semblé très matinal. Nous les avons relancés par message à 2 reprises avant notre arrivée pour le décaler entre 11h et 11h30 ( quitte à payer un supplément), mais pas de réponse.

Magnifique appartement propre, moderne et facile à vivre. Idéalement situé non loin du port et du centre avec un parking privé pour notre véhicule. La vue de la terrasse est dégagée et très agréable.

Komfortabler Zwischenstopp in Caen

Sehr schöne Wohnung, super sauber und gut ausgestattet. Bequeme Betten und geniale großer Balkon. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut, nah in die Stadt und bei unserem Besuch (Samstag) recht ruhig. Es gibt ein Video Tutorial für die Abläufe, so dass man sich schnell zurechtfindet.

Der zugesandte Schlüsselcode war falsch. Nach zehn Versuchen habe ich den Vermieter kontaktiert, der auch sofort reagiert hat. Das Video Tutorial auf YouTube besteht aus mehr als fünf Einzelvideos, etwas unpraktisch und werbelastig ;)

Moderno apartamento de dos habitaciones con garaje muy bien ubicado

Apartamento moderno, muy bien situado, muy bien decorado, con garaje. Tiene dos habitaciones, muy amplio y espacioso y con todas las comodidades. Terraza cubierta exterior que rodea todo el apartamento. Ventanas de última generación. Televisión moderna y con canales que funcionan. Wifi ok. Muy buena ubicación.

Varias cosas: 1- las llaves no tenían la tarjeta roja (que sale en los vídeos) para entrar en el garaje. Escribimos y llamamos al anfitrión porque no éramos capaces de entrar, y aún estamos esperando respuesta. Al final no dicha hay tarjeta roja, y es un mando negro que se acerca al lector… recomendación: actualizar los vídeos, que no ayudan y confunden. 2- nunca recibimos respuesta ni por escrito a nuestros mensajes ni por llamada respondiendo a la nuestra. 3- la cama de matrimonio es de 140, con un somier muy simple. Pequeña. No nos gustó. 4- en el wc se ha puesto un lavamanos que impide sentarse cómodamente.
