Great location, large well laid out appartment with stunning views of Old and New Caen from both inside and outside. Well equipped in terms of appliances.

Not as clean as last time we stayed - the loo needed a good bleaching - and there were no cleaning products provided. Rubbish disposal instructions need updating. No reply from the owners to our query on this.

Excellent property once we got in. Almost brand new with good facilities. View over Caen with large balcony on two sides and space to eat out on the balcony. Around the corner is a bakery coffee shop for breakfast. Short walk into the centre of Caen for restaurants and bars.

Had trouble getting in and using the parking garage. 1) The lock box is not near the doorway but 50 metres to the left attached to a drainpipe. This may be the only place to have a lockbox but please say so. 2) The car parking is given as 11 Avenue Victor Hugo, but I never found number 11. It's actually a public multi-storey car park with a very large P outside which would make better instructions. 3) The key fob has a blue plastic thing that is used to enter and exit the car park. It didn't work the first day and we had to pay E15 for the first night. The instructions come with a YouTube video, but they show using a purple card which we didn't have. We tried pressing the help button on the car park machine but just got a garbled recording which we didn't understand. We wasted a lot of time trying to find the car park, then trying to get in without paying. Rather spoilt what should have been a restful stay. Please take these comments constructively and update your instructions. Remember your visitors are strangers to Caen, and in our case not native French speakers.
