Comfortable accommodation, great host (though absent), close to public transport. Port Sunlight is a gem and to stay in one of the original houses is amazing.

It’s a beautiful cottage in the perfect location for us to visit family who all live close by. 2 minute walk to the train station with direct trains to Liverpool and Chester. Some lovely cafes opened since we last stayed which seemed very popular. The house is an excellent base for feeling at home and relaxing. James is an excellent host and makes sure his guests have everything they need and more when they are staying. Hopefully if James will have us back we will be booking again.
