Perfect for port sunlight and Liverpool as Railway connection a short walk away.

Just a minor oversight as the heating was off instead of on low heat. The House Temperature was 10 degrees c. It was 2 Deg c outside. It would had been nice if the heating had been on prior to arrival to warm the house up.

Fantastic Property with loads of character

We arrived late evening due to work commitments and a long journey from Plymouth. No problem parking outside the property. The first thing i noticed was how lovely this area was, it has lots of character and theres lots of beautiful houses, including this one. The garden and the outside were tidy and very charming. Communication from the owner has been exceptional and had no problems entering the property. We we're so happy with this house, we had everything we needed. A home from home. It's pretty spacious, including a dining table, piano, books, record player, two televisions, which included Netflix, etc. Large tidy back garden with garden furniture. Bath, including a powerful shower. Central Heating for the colder months. Beds we're comfy with fresh bedding. Quiet neighbourhood, so we had two very good nights sleep. It's a 15-minute easy drive into Liverpool city centre. Aldi supermarket just down the road, we had a Chinese from the takeaway opposite the property, and that was great too. I'd highly this property, I've already booked a return in 2026.

Really pleasant place to stay with everything you need in a good location, with friendly hosts.

House had lots of character, good decor and features within that made it feel very homely. Kitchen and dining room spacious enough with good sized fridge and all you need to cook, large living room with good sofa space and armchair, big TV with streaming apps plus a piano (!). One large master bedroom with a chaise lounge and a second bedroom of a decent size with large TV and record player. Both beds comfortable and plenty of pillows/cushions. Bathroom absolutely fine, shower and bath as well as toilet and basin. Lovely and clean. Good sized garden with table/chairs to sit outside in nice weather. Communication with Claire was really good, always quick to reply and friendly. Location, directly opposite a chinese takeaway and coffee shop, with Aldi also over the road and a pub a stone's throw away. Bebington train station with links to Liverpool and Chester, no more than 5 minutes walk along 1 road, took around 15 minutes to get there from Liverpool on the train. Parking is on the street right ouside, Very easy. Overall, this was a real gem of a place to stay.

Honestly, couldn't really find fault in this place. The only thing might be in the winter, with it being an older house, it may get cold, but it wasn't cold weather when I stayed so I can't comment on this with too much certainty. There was a couple of features we had to hide away from our young children, just because we didn't want to have any accidents, but this was easily done and wouldn't put me off staying again with my young family.
