North Sea vacation in Esens and the North Sea spa town of Bensersiel—welcome to “Haus Akazie”!
“Haus Akazie,” featuring two vacation apartments, is located in the North Sea spa town of Esens-Bensersiel, right next to the “Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park,” a “UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site” since 2009. The house is located in a very quiet residential area in the southern part of the charming old town of Esens. It sits on a small side street with no through traffic and offers excellent access to all directions, whether by car or bicycle.
The two vacation apartments in “Haus Akazie” are tastefully and lovingly designed, bright and furnished in a friendly, modern style, yet very cozy and well-equipped with modern amenities. Spanning approximately 70 and 65 square meters, respectively, these apartments offer 2 to 4 guests everything they need for a thoroughly enjoyable vacation at a very reasonable price. For example, in Vacation Apartment 1, you’ll find a washing machine; the fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher; and outside, you can relax in a beach chair in the sun or enjoy breakfast on the terrace.
You can reach the city center in about five minutes by bike, and a five-minute walk takes you to Lidl, Aldi, and another supermarket with a bakery and butcher shop.
We’d be happy to tell you all about the amenities of our cozy and charming “Bear Town,” which is over 475 years old and features a historic city center, as well as the “highlights” of the North Sea spa town of Bensersiel. For example, we also have plenty of events—both big and small—and museums. Or you can simply enjoy some peace and quiet in your beautiful vacation apartment and on the lovely balcony.
Head south from Esens and go for a hike in the Schafhauser Forest and the adjacent moor nature reserve. Or explore East Frisia even further by bike. There are many rewarding bike tours and beautiful destinations to discover.
Or, for example, head north by bike along the beautifully situated old narrow-gauge railroad track, then across the idyllic marshlands, and optionally along the “Benser Tief” to Bensersiel. This way, you’ll reach the beach at a leisurely pace, feeling refreshed.
Of course, you can also get there by car in just a few minutes, but by bike you’ll reach the sea and Bensersiel—about 5 kilometers away—in complete peace and quiet, having already breathed in plenty of healthy sea air, and you’ll be able to especially enjoy the beach and the many tourist, spa, and vacation facilities.
Our location is ideal for long walks, bike rides, and explorations of East Frisia’s unique natural landscape. This way, you can enjoy an active yet relaxing vacation on the North Sea and make the most of the North Sea’s invigorating climate.
By car, you can reach Bensersiel or the North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel in 5 to 15 minutes. You can also easily reach both of these coastal towns and North Sea spa resorts by bus.
