Lazareta 3

Our stay at Lazareta 3 apartment was extremely comfortable. The apartment is very spacious and stylishly decorated. Everything was new and clean. We liked the kitchen the most because it was well equipped with everything we needed and also bigger than our own. We felt like at home because of the extra small things that were waiting for us there - raki, croissants, water, juice, basic things needed for cooking, cleaning, coffee, tea... Big plus was the washing machine. The location is perfect, right next to the Nea Chora beach, and close to many taverns, cafes, pharmacy, market, bakery, car rental... It is walkable distance to the Chania old town ( 15-20 minutes). The communication with the agency that manages the property was professional and smooth and problems that we had were promptly addressed.

As it says in the property description, it is on the ground floor which comes with some negative sides regarding the privacy, since the immediate surroundings of the property are frequented by both locals and tourists. The issue can be solved easily using the convenient roller shutters and curtains, but you have to pay attention. The balcony is also not that nice compared to if it was on upper floors.

Appartamento pulito ben tenuto e con tutte le comodità. L’unico neo, la mancanza della lavastoviglie e la Tv senza canali in lingua Italiana. Staff sempre presente e disponibile oltre che molto gentile.

Everything was great! Beautiful apartment and very clean ! Near to the beach ,good food and the owner very kind person and very helpful with everything we need! We had a great time staying there and we highly recommend this location!

Great location - 1 minute walking to the beach. The apartment is beautiful and spacious, with nice designs. There is a lot of kitchen space. The host seems nice and willing to help. We were allowed to leave our luggage in the apartment before checking in which was very comfortable.

First, the wi-fi was extremely slow and unreliable, there is almost none. The spot is located in another apartment, and the reception was very weak. Some of our gadgets did not even see the connection. For those that did, the connection was so slow. The speed tested with internet services help ranged from 0,4 to 17 mps with ping up to 134 mps. And in some cases the internet speed test could not just be performed, because it was too slow. We have asked the host to fix it, bit he seems to see no issue with this kind of speed. Well we do, and we could not really use it during the stay - had to stick to mobile internet. Second, the air conditioners are uncomfortable. The one in the bedroom blows right at you when you are there, and there is no quiet mode, so for these reasons we could not leave it on for the night. The one in the kitchen/living rooms is old, weak and quite noisy. Finally, not that much of an issue, but keep in mind that the apartment is located on the ground floor and people from other apartments walk by the kitchen window, so when your blinds are up you may feel less comfortable about your privacy. But you can easily put the blinds down. P.S. I would also suggest the host to get a microwave. It's much more comfortable to stay when it's there. And some laundry detergent, shower gel and shampoo would also be nice, though not necessary.
