Fraser Residence River Promenade, Singapore

It was very good. Except as we've had long stays here even in the past, it seemed very similar. But all good for new travellers

The staff are fantastic, they couldn’t do enough for us, I must highlight the manager, an excellent ambassador for both the hotel and Singapore, thank you so much.

If I have to write anything it may be that the light system in the room was a bit complicated to operate, but that was probably just me🤣

It's a lovely holiday apartment complex with decent sized rooms and great amenities. In renovating, they've kept the old warehouse feel by creating a large open plan foyer area that's great as a convenient gathering place, afternoon drinks or just relaxing in. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the location is good, being a 5-10min walk from Great World Shopping Centre and the MRT. Rooms are modern, clean and a decent size.

The only issue we had was there was a fairly substantial conference/party/event held in the foyer area during the time of our stay. The event took over the entire foyer area and made it quite awkward for paying guests to navigate and access the public space; almost as if we, the guests, were somewhat of an imposition! Firstly, there were a couple of days of setting up, with staging crew and equipment everywhere. Then, on the day of the event they made it almost impossible for paying guests to both enter and exit the hotel - with the foyer full to capacity with conference delegates eating, drinking and blocking every doorway and security guards stopping and questioning the hotel guests every time they walked in the door....Overall, not a great experience for paying guests. Especially when there was absolutely no notification that this event would be taking place. No signs, no letters under the doors of the rooms, no explanation or apology whatsoever. While this did not exactly ruin our stay with Fraser Residence, it certainly left a bad taste in our mouths, so much so I'd think twice before booking there again. In all honesty I think the management need to decide whether they're an apartment hotel complex or an event venue because clearly the space does not happily accommodate both at the same time.

Fabulous hotel in a quiet area by the river. Close to transport, restaurants and shopping centre. Friendly, amazing helpful staff, lovely rooms and nice breakfast. Lovely pool area. All day snacks and happy hour a little bonus.

Nothing.
