Location is excellent, easy walking distance to all attractions and bus & train stations. I was traveling alone for 14 nights and the apartment was perfect for my stay. Kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking and the small terrace is private, so very nice for morning coffee or a nightcap before bed. Just be sure to bring your mosquito repellent! Mari was a wonderful host, very easy to communicate with and full of suggestions for local restaurants and events. Next time I am in Lucca I will look to stay here first.
The apartment does not have air-conditioning. For me this was not a problem, there is a fan and mosquito nets on the windows so they can be left open at night. But may be uncomfortable for some. Other than that everything was perfect!

Very well received, worked well from start to finish. Nice small town big good apartment with good kitchen and big balcony. There was a very good fan so you don't have to worry about it getting too hot. RECOMMENDED
